Il significato dell'essere UMANO / The meaning of being HUMAN

Carissimi lettori,

Come avrete già capito dal titolo, ho letto questo libro di recente e sto cercando di parlarvi delle mie impressioni. Ma cosa potrei dire su un libro tanto sofferto e tanto concreto? È sufficiente raccontarvi che questo è il primo libro da anni che io leggo con una matita in mano per prendere appunti e segnarmi tutti i momenti chiave? Questo non è un libro leggero e leggerlo sarà una esperienza dolorosa che vi cambierà la vita. È straziante leggerlo perché è molto realistico ma è anche un libro edificatore per l’integrità di una persona. Per coloro che non conoscono l’autore, Primo Levi o il libro “Se questo è un uomo”, vi devo dire che l’autore ha scritto questo libro dopo che fu deportato e imprigionato nel campo di concentramento ad Auschwitz durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Primo Levi era un ebreo italiano non religioso, catturato nell’Italia fascista perché partigiano. Fu deportato poi in uno dei campi di concentramento di Auschwitz insieme ad altri 95 italiani ebrei del convoglio 174 000 di cui solo 29 arrivarono al mese di ottobre. Il 22 febbraio 1944 insieme a lui arrivarono ad Auschwitz 650 ebrei italiani, uomini, donne e bambini e lui fu uno dei solo 20 sopravvissuti, gli altri persero la vita per la fame, le malattie, scarse condizioni e nelle camere a gas. Scrisse questo romanzo subito dopo la liberazione finché aveva ancora fresche nella memoria le esperienze e la sofferenza vissuta e nonostante il dolore fisico, la paura di morire, la fame, le malattie, le derisione e l’annientamento psicologico, nelle sue parole non si sente l’odio o la rabbia ma solo il dolore e la tristezza. In questo libro Primo Levi vuole solo raccontare, testimoniare perché la gente non dimenticasse ed eventi come questi non si ripetessero in futuro. Nel lager ha sofferto il freddo, la sete, la fame, ha patito i dolori delle percosse fisiche, l’umiliazione di vedersi strappare i vestiti, rasare i capelli e cancellare il nome e ha lottato per un pezzo di pane perché la legge dei lager dice: “mangia il tuo pane, e, se puoi, quello del tuo vicino”.

Parlerò adesso dei momenti memorabili di questo libro, ce ne sono tanti ma io sceglierò quelli di maggior impatto solo per farvi capire l’importanza di questo libro. In questo libro si parla dell’organizzazione del lager e dei detenuti. Nei lager c’erano 3 categorie di detenuti, gli ebrei a cui veniva assegnata come simbolo la stella di Davide e che erano l’ultima categoria di detenuti e molto spesso venivano mandati direttamente nelle camere a gas almeno non fossero ebrei economicamente utili (ne parlerò di questo più tardi), i detenuti politici ai quali veniva assegnato come simbolo un cerchio rosso e che il più spesso delle volte avevano alloggi diversi da quelli degli altri detenuti e finalmente i criminali e i trasgressori in generale, tedeschi o dei paesi occupati, designati con il simbolo del triangolo verde e a cui veniva assegnato il compito di sorvegliare e comandare nei lager sugli altri detenuti. Oltre a queste categorie nei lager venivano detenuti anche i zingari, gli omosessuali, e i prigionieri di guerra. Memorabili la frasi di Levi che descrivono questa situazione: “è nel normale ordine delle cose che i privilegiati opprimano i non privilegiati: su questa legge umana si regge la struttura sociale del campo” perché nella “lotta per sopravvivere […] ognuno è disperatamente ferocemente solo”, “chi è temuto è ipso facto un candidato a sopravvivere” e in conclusione la legge è che «a chi ha, sarà dato; a chi non ha, a quello sarà tolto». Un altro momento di grande impatto in questo libro è il momento in cui Levi parla delle selezioni per le camere a gas. I lager erano sovrappopolati, i detenuti dormivano due per ogni cuccetta per non parlare della scarsità del cibo e visto che nuovi detenuti arrivavano in continuazione, alcuni detenuti dovevano essere sterminati nelle camere a gas e poi bruciati nei crematori per fare spazio ad altri disgraziati che avrebbero visto la stessa sorte con il tempo. Per scegliere i detenuti da eliminare, venivano organizzate queste selezioni dalle truppe SS che si svolgevano in questo modo: “l’arbitro del nostro destino è un sottufficiale delle SS” e “ognuno di noi, che esce nudo dal Tagesraum nel freddo, deve fare di corsa i pochi passi fra le due porte davanti ai tre, consegnare la scheda alla SS e rientrare per la porta del dormitorio. La SS, sguardo di faccia e di schiena giudica della sorte di ognuno, e consegna a sua volta la scheda all’uomo alla sua destra o all’uomo alla sua sinistra, e questo è la vita o la morte di ciascuno di noi”. Le scelte non erano sempre ovvie, di solito venivano scelti coloro che non erano più in grado di lavorare, erano troppo malati o anziani ma spesso venivano mandati nelle camere a gas anche giovani sani e forti saltando e dando una seconda possibilità al furbo che poi ringraziava Dio a voce alta davanti a tutti gli altri detenuti per non essere stato scelto lui per morire ma qualcun altro. In diversi momenti Levi parla delle persone che accettano con dignità la morte anche quando non era dovuta e di coloro che codardamente rubano il pane ai più deboli per sopravvivere un altro giorno. L’ironia di queste selezioni era che i prescelti venivano lasciati insieme agli altri detenuti per un altro giorno prima del momento fatidico e veniva assegnata a loro una doppia razione di pane e zuppa come consolazione presumo. Ed ecco come i selezionati, sapendo comunque di morire, andavano a morte, sazi per la prima volta. L’ultimo momento di grande impatto di cui vorrei parlare è il momento in cui Primo Levi parla della morte della piccola Emilia, una bambina di soli 3 anni che come la maggior parte dei bambini deportati, finì nelle camere a gas. “Così morì Emilia, che aveva tre anni; poiché ai tedeschi appariva palese la necessità storica di mettere a morte i bambini degli ebrei. Emilia, figlia dell’ingegnere Aldo Levi di Milano, che era una bambina curiosa, ambiziosa, allegra e intelligente”.

Primo Levi ammette che è stato puramente un caso che lui sia sopravvissuto alle selezioni e ai lager. È stato decisamente aiutato dal fatto che fu catturato verso la fine della guerra, in un momento in cui i tedeschi si trovavano in grosse difficoltà e avevano bisogno più che mai di mano d’opera. “In meno di dieci minuti tutti noi uomini validi fummo radunati in un gruppo.” In questo modo i tedeschi hanno trasformato il loro nemico numero uno in “schiavi, privi di ogni diritto” utilizzati per far funzionare ancora la macchina di guerra tedesca. Gli ebrei scelti per lavorare nei lager erano considerati ebrei economicamente utili.

La versione del libro che ho letto io, casa editrice Einaudi 2019, contiene anche un’appendice che Primo Levi ha scritto nel 1976 per rispondere alle domande rivolte dai suoi lettori. Ho trovato molto utile questo appendice e sono contenta di vedere e capire la qualità e la natura delle domande che sono state fatte. Consiglio quindi di leggere anche questo appendice nel caso compraste questa versione del libro o comunque una versione che comprende anche questo segmento. Vorrei menzionare solo alcuni frammenti di questo appendice in quanti li trovo edificanti. Per esempio Primo Levi spiega e discute la differenza fra nazismo e comunismo, fra i gulag sovietici e i lager tedeschi sottolineando che è facile rappresentarsi un socialismo senza campi di concentramento ma è impensabile immaginare un nazismo senza i lager. Nei periodi più duri, nei campi dell’Unione Sovietica la mortalità si aggirava intorno al 30% ed era causata dalla penuria delle risorse e dalle malattie mentre nei lager tedeschi la mortalità si aggirava intorno al 90 -98% perché nei lager tedeschi “si entrava per non uscirne.” Nel suo libro non c’è traccia di oddio verso il popolo e le persone che le hanno fatto tanto male e quando li viene chiesto se potrebbe mai perdonare tutti questi soprusi, lui risponde che non lo ha fatto e non lo farà finche i colpevoli non ammetteranno la loro colpa e non condanneranno il regime che li ha spinti ha fare tutto ciò. Ho trovato molto interessante anche il momento in cui lui parla dei civili e del popolo tedesco che si era dichiarato ignaro davanti a tutti questi abusi. Un popolo che lavorava comunque nel e per il sistema nazista, un popolo che vedeva sparire tutti i suoi vicini ebrei senza mai ritornare lo porta alla conclusione che “la maggior parte dei tedeschi non sapevano perché non volevano sapere” e che “chiudendosi la bocca, gli occhi e le orecchie, egli si costruiva l’illusione di non essere a conoscenza”.

Devo confessare che questo sia stato il più edificante, illuminante e migliore romanzo che io abbia mai letto finora. Non credo di avere le parole giuste per descriverlo o per spiegare cosa si può avvertire, sentire o pensare a leggere questo libro ma vi posso dire che non potete e non dovete mancare di leggerlo. Questo è più che un libro, è una LEZIONE DI VITA!

Dear readers,As you may have already understood from the title, I read this book recently and am trying to share with you my impressions. But what could I say about a book so suffered and so down-to-earth? Is it enough to tell you that this is the first book in years that I read with a pencil in my hand to take notes and mark all the key moments? This is not an easy book and reading it will be a painful life-changing experience. It is heartbreaking to read it because it is very realistic but it is also an edifying book for the integrity of a person. For those who do not know the author, Primo Levi or the book "If this is a man", I must tell you that the author wrote this book after he was deported and imprisoned in a concentration camp in Auschwitz during the Second World War. Primo Levi was an Italian non-religious Jew, captured in fascist Italy because he was a partisan. He was then deported to one of the concentration camps of Auschwitz together with 95 other Italian Jews of the convoy 174 000 of which only 29 arrived in the month of October. On February 22, 1944 with him other 650 Italian Jews, men, women and children arrived in Auschwitz and he was one of only 20 survivors, the rest lost their lives from hunger, diseases, poor conditions and in gas chambers. He wrote this novel immediately after his release while his experiences and sufferings were still fresh in his memory and despite the physical pain, the fear of dying, hunger, disease, derision and psychological annihilation, in his words he does not feel hatred or anger but only pain and sadness. In this book Primo Levi just wants to tell, testify so that people doesn't forget and events like these won't happen again in the future. In the concentration camp he suffered the cold, thirst, hunger, underwent the pains of physical beatings, the humiliation of having his clothes torn, his hair shaved off and his name canceled and he fought for a piece of bread because the law of the camps says: "eat your bread, and, if you can, that of your neighbor".

I will now talk about the memorable moments of this book, there are so many but I will choose the ones with the greatest impact just to make you understand the importance of this book. In this book it is discussed the organization of the concentration camp and of the prisoners. In the camps there were 3 categories of prisoners, the Jews who were assigned the star of David as a symbol and who were the last category of prisoners and very often were sent directly to the gas chambers unless we talk about the economically useful Jews (I will talk about this later), political prisoners who were assigned a red circle as a symbol and who veryn often had housing different from other prisoners and finally criminals and offenders in general, German or citizens of the occupied countries, designated by the symbol of the green triangle and to which was assigned the task of supervising and commanding the other prisoners in the camps. In addition to these categories, gypsies, homosexuals, and prisoners of war were also detained in the camps. Levi's phrases describing this situation are memorable: "it is in the normal order of things that the privileged oppress the non-privileged: the social structure of the camp is based on this human law" because in the "struggle to survive [...] everyone is desperately ferociously alone "," those who are feared are ipso facto a candidate to survive "and in conclusion the law states that" to those who have, it will be given; to those who do not have, it will be taken away ». Another moment of great impact in this book is the moment when Levi talks about the selections for the gas chambers. The camps were overpopulated, the inmates slept two for each berth not to mention the scarcity of food and since new inmates continued to arrive, some inmates had to be exterminated in the gas chambers and then burned in the crematoriums to make room for other unfortunate people who would have seen the same fate with time. To select the detainees to be eliminated, these selections were organized by the SS troops which took place in this way: "the arbiter of our destiny is a non-commissioned officer of the SS" and "each of us, who comes out naked from the Tagesraum in the cold, must do running the few steps between the two doors in front of the three men, hand over the card to the SS and go back through the dormitory door. The SS, looking from front to back, judges the fate of each one, and in turn gives the card to the man on his right or to the man on his left, and this is the life or death of each of us. " The choices were not always obvious, usually those who were no longer able to work were chosen, those who were too sick or elderly but often healthy and strong young people were also sent to the gas chambers, skiping and giving a second chance to the sneaky one who then thanked God out loud before all the other inmates for not being chosen to die but someone else. On several times Levi talks about people who accept death with dignity even when it was not their moment and about those who cowardly steal bread from the weakest to survive another day. The irony of these selections was that the chosen ones were left together with the other prisoners for another day before the fatal moment and a double ration of bread and soup was assigned to them as a consolation I presume. And here is how the selected ones, knowing that they were dying, went to death, satiated for the first time. The last moment of great impact that I would like to talk about is the moment when Primo Levi talks about the death of little Emilia, a 3-year-old girl who, like most of the deported children, ended up in the gas chambers. “So died Emilia, who was three years old; for the Germans saw the obvious need to put Jewish children to death. Emilia, the daughter of the engineer Aldo Levi of Milan, who was a curious, ambitious, cheerful and intelligent child ".Primo Levi admits that it was purely a coincidence that he survived the selections and camps. He was definitely helped by the fact that he was captured towards the end of the war, at a time when the Germans were in great difficulty and needed more workforce than ever. "In less than ten minutes all of us good men were assembled into a group." In this way the Germans transformed their number one enemy into "slaves, deprived of all rights" in order to make function the German war machine again. The Jews chosen to work in the camps were considered economically useful Jews.

The version of the book I read, 2019 Einaudi publishing house, also contains an appendix that Primo Levi wrote in 1976 to answer the questions asked by his readers. I found this appendix very useful and I am happy to see and understand the quality and nature of the questions that have been asked. I therefore recommend that you also read this appendix if you bought this version of the book or at least a version that also includes this segment. I would like to mention only a few fragments of this appendix simply because I find it edifying. For example Primo Levi explains and discusses the difference between Nazism and communism, between the Soviet gulags and the German concentration camps, underlining that it is easy to represent a socialism without a detention camp but it is unthinkable to imagine a Nazism without the concentration camps. In the harshest periods, mortality in the camps of the Soviet Union was around 30% and was caused by a shortage of resources and by diseases, while in German concentration camps mortality was around 90 -98% because in German concentration camps “we entered so as not to get out of it. ” In his book there is no trace of hatred towards the nation and the people who have hurt him so much and when asked if he could ever forgive all these abuses, he replies that he did not and will not do it until the guilty ones admit their wrong doing and condemn the regime that pushed them to do all this. I also found very interesting the moment when he talks about civilians and the German people who had declared themselves ignorant of all these abuses. A people that worked in and for the Nazi system, a nation that saw all their Jewish neighbors disappear without ever returning, take him to the conclusion that "most Germans didn't know why they didn't want to know" and that "closing their mouths, eyes and ears, they built the illusion of not being aware. "

I must confess that this was the most edifying, illuminating and best novel I have ever read so far. I don't think I have the right words to describe it or to explain what you can apprise, feel or think when reading this book, but I can tell you that you cannot and must not fail to read it. This is more than a book, it is a LIFE LESSON!

Pollo gourmet con contorno di asparagi / Gourmet chicken with asparagus garnish

Ciao carissimi lettori,

Come avete passato le feste? Immagino che vi siete deliziati con tante bontà e piatti specifici per queste occasioni. Credo che siamo tutti d’accordo che nel periodo delle feste mangiamo un po’ di più, a volte magari troppo e poi il nostro organismo si risente. Ecco perché dopo le feste dobbiamo mangiare leggero cercando di non rinunciare al sapore e a mangiare gustoso. Per questo motivo oggi vi propongo una ricetta molto apprezzata a casa mia. Il pollo è una carne leggera e abbinata a certi aromi e con certi contorni può diventare veramente sfizioso.

Per il pollo

Ingredienti: 1 petto di pollo grande tagliato a straccetti, sale grosso, timo, pepe nero, peperoncino, olio d’oliva extravergine

Per le mele caramellate:

Ingredienti: 1 mela gialla tagliata e fette sottili, 2 cucchiaini di miele, 2 cucchiai di aceto balsamico

Contorno: per questo piatto ho scelto gli asparagi

Preparazione: Condire il pollo con del sale grosso, pepe nero, timo e olio extravergine di oliva. Lasciare marinare il pollo per 15 minuti e nel frattempo, scegliete una mela gialla di dimensioni medie e tagliate la mela a fette sottili. Fate aromatizzare l’olio per la cottura del pollo con del peperoncino e poi adagiate gli straccetti di pollo nella padella. Fate cuocere il pollo usando un coperchio per rendere la carne morbida. Nel frattempo fate bollire acqua in una pentola per la cottura degli asparagi. Io uso asparagi surgelati ma se usate quelli freschi dovete aggiungere minuti alla cottura. Usando gli asparagi surgelati basta far bollire l’acqua, buttare gli asparagi e farli cuocere per non più di un minuto. Potete sempre cucinare gli asparagi prima di servire il piatto per servirli caldi. Dopo che avete girato il pollo sull'altro lato, fate riscaldare una padella e adagiate le fette di mela aggiungendo i 2 cucchiaini di miele e l’aceto balsamico. Il pollo va reso croccante e dorato e la mela soffice e caramellata. Adagiate su un piatto il petto di pollo aromatizzato aggiungendone accanto la mela sfiziosa e gli asparagi croccanti. Per rendere questo piatto ancora più sfizioso a me piace servirlo insieme ad una confettura senapata di mandarini in cui intingere la carne. Potete accompagnare questo piatto con un bicchiere di prosecco o un pinot grigio. Non vi rimane che gustare questo piatto in buona compagnia, magari con la vostra anima gemella e scegliere un buon film da vedere insieme. Buon appetito!

How did you spend the holidays? I imagine you delighted yourself with so many goodies and specific dishes for these occasions. I think we all agree that we eat a little more during winter holidays, sometimes even too much and then our body resents it. That's why after the holidays we have to eat lightly trying not to give up the taste and eat delicious food. For this reason, today I propose a recipe very popular at my home. The chicken is a light meat and combined with certain aromas and with certain side dishes can become really tasty.

For the chicken

Ingredients: 1 large chicken breast cut into strips, coarse salt, thyme, black pepper, chilli pepper, extra virgin olive oil

For caramelized apples

Ingredients: 1 yellow apple cut into thin slices, 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar

Side dish: for this dish I chose asparagus

Preparation: Season the chicken with coarse salt, black pepper, thyme and extra virgin olive oil. Let the chicken marinate for 15 minutes and in the meantime, choose a medium-sized yellow apple and cut it into thin slices. Aromatize the oil for cooking the chicken with crushed chilli and then place the chicken strips in the pan. Cook the chicken using a lid to make the meat soft. Meanwhile boil water in a pot for cooking the asparagus. I use frozen asparagus but if you use fresh ones you have to add minutes to cooking. Using frozen asparagus, you only need to simply boil the water, toss the asparagus and cook for no more than a minute. You can always cook the asparagus before serving the dish to serve it hot. After you have turned the chicken on the other side, heat up a pan and lay the apple slices adding the 2 teaspoons of honey and the balsamic vinegar. The chicken should be made crispy and golden and the apple should be soft and caramelized. Place the flavored chicken breast on a plate and add the delicious apple and crunchy asparagus. To make this dish even more delicious I like to serve it along with a tangerine mustard jam for dipping the meat. You can accompany this dish with a glass of prosecco or a pinot grigio. All you have to do is enjoy this dish in good company, perhaps with your soul mate and choose a good movie to watch together. Enjoy your meal!

Book review - The Lord of the Flies / Recensione di libro - Il Signore delle Mosche / Recenzie de carte - Imparatul mustelor

Dragi cititori,

De curand am terminat de citit romanul “Imparatul Mustelor” de William Golding si doresc sa analizez acest roman impreuna cu voi. Nu voi face un rezumat, sunt deja numeroase astfel de lucrari disponibile online si nici o recenzie propriu-zisa, eu voi analiza aceasta carte din perspectiva elementelor socio psihologice suprinse atat de maestuos in aceasta carte. Inainte de toate cred ca sunt datoare cu cateva cuvinte despre scriitor si carte, Imparatul mustelor este romanul de debut dar si cea mai importanta lucrare a scriitorului britanic, castigator al premiului Nobel pentru literaura in 1983, William Golding. Acest roman a avut un succes rasunator de la bun inceput devenind un best seller cu mai bine de 14 milioane de copii vandute doar in tarile anglosaxone. Tradus in numeroase limbi straine, “Lord of the Flies” a devenit un classic al literaturii universale. Nu stiu daca vo iati avut ocazia sa cititi aceasta carte, in eventualitatea in care nu ati facut-o voi incerca di rasputeri sa nu dezvalui in nici un mod finalul, surprinzator si electrizant. In versiunea italiana in care am citit eu aceasta carte, romanul este insotit de o prefata scrisa de scriitorul Stephen King. Prezentarea este foarte bine realizata, totusi as fi preferat sa nu o citesc intrucat lasa sa se intuiasca finalul romanului. In pofida acestei introduceri, eu am citit cu placere si pe nerasuflate acest roman datorita caracterului cursiv, simplu si fluent al scrisului. Nu avem de a face cu figuri de stil inutile si greoaie, fiecare cuvant si actiune se gaseste la locul sau intr-un mod perfect pentru a construi o imagine clara, concisa si evocatoare a situatie si fenomenului descris. Romanul descrie aventurile unui grup de copii si adolescenti britanici abandonati pe o insula pustie care incearca sa se autoguverneze. O astfel de premiza imi aminteste de experimentele stiintifice realizate la sfarsitul secolului trecut cu scopul de a analiza dinamicile sociale si din acest punct de vedere Wiliam Golding este un antemergator a psihologiei sociale. Pusi intr-un context complet nou, copii sunt obligati sa se organizeze si in primul rand trebuie sa isi aleaga un lider. Asa cum adesea am observat si noi in relatiile sociale pe care le stabilim, liderul nu este niciodata persoana cea mai inteligenta sau cea mai competenta intr-un anumit domeniu, liderul este persoana cea mai carismatica. Este ales lider acel individ care reuseste sa captureze interesul si sa ii fascineze pe ceilalti membri ai grupului. Pentru a stabili reguli si pentru a organiza grupul liderul stabileste diverse raporturi cu ceilalti mebri, raporturi variabile in timp si structura. Aceasta carte este o fantastica ilustrare a ceea ce inseamna dinamica sociala, raporturile care se creaza intre persoane intr-o situatie neprevazuta si in perpetua schimbare. Asistam la conflicte, generate de raporturile interpersonale cat si de nevoile individuale. As vrea sa aduc in atentie acum conceptul piramizii nevoilor realizat de Abraham Maslow intrucat consider ca aceasta carte ilustreaza perfect acest concept. La baza piramizii avem nevoile primare, apa, hrana, adapost, urmatoarea treapta este cea a sigurantei si securitatii personale, apoi avem treapta sociala si a apartenentei, culminand cu recunoasterea sociala si autorealizarea si dezvoltarea sociala. In prima faza asistam la o organizare care incearca sa atinga toate aceste trepte dar cu cat dinamicile sociale evolueaza si conflictele degenereaza asistam la o schimbare totala a prioritatilor. Pentru o parte de grup care nu a putut obtine stima grupului devin primordiale nevoile fiziologice, in special nevoia de hrana. In acest context asistam la dezvoltarea si acutizarea simtului vanatorii printre membrii grupului, vanatoare care devine cu facilitate si un mod de a se impune in grup, castiga stima, de autorealizare. Vanatoarea trece da un simplu mod de a-si procura hrana, la categoria de hobby culminand in un mod de a exercita puterea. Vanatoarea devine placere, uciderea devine placere si atunci cand omul nu mai face diferenta intre o prada animala si una umana, asistam la dezumanizare si alienarea de orice structura sociala. In esenta, personajele noastre se transforma din copii candizi si speriati in bestii infioratoare. Teza principala a scriitorului in aceasta carte e faptul ca esentialmente omul este rau si in conditiile potrivite poate deveni o fiara fara mila. Fraza sa “omul produce raul asa cum albinele produc mierea” este perfect ilustrata in acest roman, scriitorul reusind sa captureze fiecare moment din acest proces complex si degradant.

Marturisesc ca citind aceasta carte am avut ocazia sa analizez indeaproape resorturile necesare raporturilor sociale si sa meditez la actiunile care ar trebui inteprinse in situatii asemanatoare. In acest caz avem de a face cu o lectura menita sa ne schimbe perspectiva asupra vietii, lectura utila atat din punct de vedere educativ cat si constatativ si filosofic. Din punctul meu de vedere acest roman constituie una din acele carti care trebuie citite macar o data in viata asadar va recomand cu toata convingerea sa cititi aceasta opera literara.

Di recente ho finito di leggere il romanzo "Il Signore delle Mosche" di William Golding e voglio analizzare questo romanzo con voi. Non farò un riassunto, ce ne sono già abbastanza disponibili online e neanche una recensione vera e propria, ma, analizzerò questo libro dal punto di vista degli elementi socio-psicologici catturati tanto magistralmente in questo libro. Prima di tutto, penso che debba sprecare qualche parola sullo scrittore e sul libro, Il Signore delle Mosche è il romanzo di debutto ma anche l'opera più importante dello scrittore britannico, vincitore del premio Nobel per la letteratura nel 1983, William Golding. Questo romanzo è stato un successo clamoroso sin dall'inizio diventando un bestseller con oltre 14 milioni di copie vendute solo nei paesi anglosassoni. Tradotto in molte lingue straniere, "Il Signore delle Mosche" è diventato un classico della letteratura universale. Non so se avete avuto l'opportunità di leggere questo libro, nel caso in cui non lo aveste fatto, farò del mio meglio per non rivelare in alcun modo il finale, tanto sorprendente ed elettrizzante. Nella versione italiana in cui ho letto questo libro, il romanzo è accompagnato da una prefazione scritta dallo scrittore Stephen King. La presentazione è molto ben fatta, tuttavia avrei preferito non leggerla perché lascia intuire il finale del romanzo. Nonostante questa introduzione, ho letto questo romanzo con piacere e con il fiato sospeso grazie al carattere scorrevole, semplice e fluido della scrittura. Non abbiamo a che fare con inutili e ingombranti figure retoriche, ogni parola e azione è al suo posto in un modo perfetto per costruire un quadro chiaro, conciso ed evocativo della situazione e del fenomeno descritto. Il romanzo descrive le avventure di un gruppo di bambini e adolescenti britannici abbandonati su un'isola deserta che cerca di autogovernarsi. Una simile premessa mi ricorda gli esperimenti scientifici condotti alla fine del secolo scorso per analizzare le dinamiche sociali e da questo punto di vista Wiliam Golding è un precursore della psicologia sociale. Inseriti in un contesto completamente nuovo, i bambini sono costretti a organizzarsi e prima di tutto, devono scegliere un leader. Come abbiamo spesso osservato nelle relazioni sociali che stabiliamo, il leader non è mai la persona più intelligente o competente in un determinato campo, il leader è la persona più carismatica. Viene scelto come leader l'individuo che riesce a catturare l'interesse e affascinare gli altri membri del gruppo. Per stabilire regole e organizzare il gruppo, il leader stabilisce relazioni diverse con gli altri membri, relazioni variabili nel tempo e nella struttura. Questo libro è una fantastica illustrazione di ciò che significano le dinamiche sociali, le relazioni che si creano tra le persone in una situazione imprevista e in perpetuo cambiamento. Assistiamo a conflitti, generati da relazioni interpersonali e da esigenze individuali. Vorrei ora portare alla vostra attenzione il concetto di piramide dei bisogni sviluppato da Abraham Maslow poiché credo che questo libro illustri perfettamente questo concetto. Alla base della piramide abbiamo i bisogni primari, acqua, cibo, riparo, il passo successivo è quello della sicurezza personale, quindi abbiamo la fase sociale e di appartenenza, che culmina con il riconoscimento sociale, l'autorealizzazione e lo sviluppo sociale. Nella prima parte del libro assistiamo a un'organizzazione che cerca di raggiungere tutte queste fasi, ma mentre le dinamiche sociali si evolvono e i conflitti degenerano, assistiamo a un cambiamento totale di priorità. Per la parte del gruppo che non ha potuto ottenere la stima degli altri membri, i bisogni fisiologici, in particolare il bisogno di cibo, diventano fondamentali. In questo contesto stiamo assistendo allo sviluppo e al rafforzamento del senso di caccia tra i membri del gruppo, la caccia che diventa con facilità anche un modo per imporsi nel gruppo, acquisire la stima, autorealizzarsi. La caccia passa da un modo semplice per procurarsi il cibo, nella categoria degli hobby diventando finalmente in un modo per esercitare il potere. La caccia diventa piacere, l'uccisione diventa piacere e quando l'uomo non fa più distinzioni tra una preda animale e una preda umana, assistiamo alla disumanizzazione e all'alienazione da qualsiasi struttura sociale. In sostanza, i nostri personaggi si trasformano da bambini spaventati e candidi, in bestie feroci. La tesi principale dello scrittore in questo libro è che essenzialmente l'uomo è cattivo e nelle giuste condizioni può diventare una bestia spietata. La sua frase "l'uomo produce il male come le api producono il miele" è perfettamente illustrata in questo romanzo, lo scrittore riuscendo a catturare ogni momento di questo complesso e degradante processo. Confesso, che leggendo questo libro ho avuto l'opportunità di analizzare minutamente le fonti necessarie per le relazioni sociali e di meditare su azioni che dovrebbero essere intraprese in situazioni simili. In questo caso abbiamo a che fare con una lettura intesa a cambiare la nostra prospettiva di vita, una lettura utile sia da un punto di vista educativo che anche da un punto di vista filosofico. Dal mio punto di vista, questo romanzo è uno di quei libri che devono essere letti almeno una volta nella vita, quindi consiglio vivamente la lettura di quest'opera letteraria.

I recently finished reading the novel "The Lord of the Flies" by William Golding and I want to analyze this novel with you. I will not make a summary, there are already enough available online and not even a real review, but, I will analyze this book from the point of view of the socio-psychological elements captured so masterfully in this book. First of all, I think you should use a few words on the writer and the book, The Lord of the Flies is the debut novel but also the most important work of the British writer, winner of the Nobel prize for literature in 1983, William Golding. This novel was a resounding success from the beginning becoming a bestseller with over 14 million copies sold only in Anglo-Saxon countries. Translated into many foreign languages, "The Lord of the Flies" has become a classic of universal literature. I do not know if you had the opportunity to read this book, in case you had not done so, I will do my best not to reveal in any way the ending, so surprising and electrifying. In the Italian version in which I read this book, the novel is accompanied by a preface written by the writer Stephen King. The presentation is very well done, however I would have preferred not to read it because it reveals the ending of the novel. Despite this introduction, I read this novel breathless and with pleasure thanks to the flowing, simple and fluent character of the writing. We are not dealing with useless and unwieldy figures of speech, every word and action is at the right place in a perfect way to build a clear, concise and evocative picture of the situation and of the phenomenon described. The novel describes the adventures of a group of British children and adolescents abandoned on a desert island trying to govern themselves. A similar premise reminds me of the scientific experiments conducted at the end of the last century to analyze social dynamics and from this point of view Wiliam Golding is a precursor of social psychology. Placed in a completely new context, children are forced to organize themselves and first of all, they must choose a leader. As we have often noticed in the social relationships we establish, the leader is never the most intelligent or competent person in a given field, the leader is the most charismatic person. The individual who manages to capture the interest and fascinate the other members of the group is chosen as the leader. To establish rules and organize the group, the leader creates different relationships with the other members, relationships that vary in time and structure. This book is a fantastic illustration of what social dynamics mean, the relationships that are created between people in an unexpected situation and in perpetual change. We witness conflicts, generated by interpersonal relationships and individual needs. I would now like to bring to your attention the concept of the pyramid of needs developed by Abraham Maslow because I believe that this book perfectly illustrates this concept. At the base of the pyramid we have the primary needs, water, food, shelter, the next step is that of personal security, so we have the social and belonging phase, which culminates with social recognition, self-fulfillment and social development. In the first part of the book we see an organization that tries to reach all these phases, but as social dynamics evolve and conflicts degenerate, we see a total change of priorities. For the part of the group that was not able to obtain the esteem of the other members, the physiological needs, in particular the need for food, become fundamental. In this context we are witnessing the development and strengthening of the sense of hunting among the members of the group, the hunting that becomes easily also a way to impose oneself in the group, to acquire esteem, to reach self-fulfillment. Hunting passes from a simple way to get food, into the category of hobbies, finally transforming a way to exercise power. Hunting becomes pleasure, killing becomes pleasure and when man no longer distinguishes between animal prey and human prey, we are witnessing dehumanization and alienation from any social structure. In essence, our characters transform themselves from frightened and candid children into wild beasts. The main thesis of the writer in this book is that essentially man is bad and in the right conditions he can become a ruthless beast. His sentence "man produces evil as bees produce honey" is perfectly illustrated in this novel, the writer managing to capture every moment of this complex and degrading process. I confess that by reading this book I had the opportunity to minutely analyze the sources necessary for social relations and to meditate on actions that should be undertaken in similar situations. In this case we are dealing with a reading intended to change our perspective of life, a useful reading both from an educational point of view and also from a philosophical perspective. As it concerns me, this novel is one of those books that must be read at least once in a lifetime, so I strongly advise you to read this literary masterpiece.

Valutazione personale: Prima di tutto debbo informare i miei lettori che non ho alcun accordo con l’azienda Bottega Verde per pubblicare un articolo su questo tema. Mi ero candidata per ricevere e testare i loro prodotti prima che essi fossero lanciati sul mercato e per quanto riguarda questo, manderò una mail in cui valuterò il prodotto al loro servizio clienti però ci tenevo anche parlare sul mio blog di questo trattamento viso. Come prima cosa abbiamo la tipologia del prodotto, un trattamento giorno e notte è una mana dal cielo per tutte le donne perché ci aiuta a risparmiare sui costi, infatti basta comperare un unico prodotti anziché averne due prodotti diversi ed in più è molto comodo avere un unico barattolo e occupare un unico posto nel nostro armadietto in bagno. Vorrei anche parlare del packaging in sé, talmente elegante e sofisticato che potrebbe anche essere un regalo molto apprezzato per le nostre mamme o amiche di fiducia per non parlare del piacere di aprire il cassetto e avere davanti un raffinato barattolo per la cura del nostro prezioso viso. Appena aperto il barattolo sono stata avvolta e conquistata da un bellissimo profumo di uva, di fresco, di natura… di delizioso. Una volta applicato il prodotto sul viso il profumo persiste accompagnandomi durante la giornata in modo delicato e sublime. La consistenza del prodotto è abbastanza densa ma una volta applicato si assorbe facilmente e non credo che darà problemi neanche alle pelli grasse o miste come la mia. Non ho mai avuto problemi di brufoli o comedoni durante l’utilizzo. Dopo aver applicato questa crema, la pelle diventa subito più elastica, soffice, idratata e levigata e rimane tale per tutta la giornata fino a sera quando è momento di applicarla nuovamente. Confesso che applicando questo prodotto la sera prima di andare a dormire ho goduto di un riposo migliore perché la sensazione confortevole che mi lascia sul viso e il profumo molto bello e rilassante sono stati una vera coccola per me. Ho notato dei leggeri miglioramenti nelle rughe sulla fronte, che sono diventati appena percettibili nei momenti di riposo. Ho notato anche un miglioramento generale della complessione che sembra più rosea, fresca, risposata, contribuendo molto al ringiovanimento del viso. Inoltre ho apprezzato moltissimo la lista degli ingredienti, senza siliconi, petrolati, parabeni o cessori di formaldeide, ricca invece di preziose sostanze naturali. Non posso ancora fare una valutazione completa in quanto non conosco ancora il prezzo di questo prodotto ma sarà sicuramente un prodotto della fascia media – alta, e come tale intendo acquistarlo in futuro, scontato o meno.

PRO: unico trattamento giorno e notte, consistenza densa che si assorbe in fretta, ottimi risultati in termini di idratazione ed effetto anti-invecchiamento, rende la pelle morbida, levigata, compatta uniformizzando il colore, profumo molto piacevole, ottima lista degli ingredienti, barattolo molto elegante

CONTRO: non ho ancora provato, ma non credo sia un prodotto travel friendly per via del pesante contenitore in vetro

Conclusione: prodotto ideale per coloro che cercano un unico prodotto per la cura del viso di giorno e di notte, consigliato a coloro che hanno problemi di rughe e cercano un prodotto naturale senza l’aggiunta di componenti chimici nocivi, perfetto anche per coloro che cercano una skin care piacevolmente profumata e idratata.

Ricordi caldi e profumati / Warm and scented memories

Ciao carissimi lettori,
Come va? Ecco, io sono molto nostalgica, non triste ma semplicemente nostalgica,  ho un senso di mancanza e malinconia dentro... Nostalgica per le feste invernali che sono appena passate, per i miei bellissimi alberi di Natale, per le pietanze natalizie e per le bellissime decorazioni con le quali avevo riempito la casa. Ecco perché ogni tanto guardo ancora sul cellulare le foto di quel periodo, e di domenica mando gli auguri su WhatsApp usando quelle foto. Ecco perché mi piace ancora indugiare in una tazza di tè bollente aromatizzato alla cannella e zenzero mentre leggo un libro avvolta in un bel maglione caldo e soffice. Certo, siamo a gennaio e fa ancora freddo e quindi avere dei bei maglioni caldi è molto indicato, anzi d'obbligo direi. Ma a dire la verità, guardando la mia guardaroba mi rendo conto che ci sono molti più cardigan lavorati a maglia che maglioni veri e propri. Non lo so, ma avere un cardigan a maglia oltre al fatto che mi permette di indossare roba più leggera sotto, come una camicia,  mi da anche una sensazione in più di sicurezza e di benessere. Tutto per tenere il freddo fuori e lontano dal mio corpo. Mi sembra di sentire mia madre che da bambina mi ripeteva, copriti bene, non devi prendere freddo, chi avrebbe mai pensato che da grande mi sarei comportata esattamente come le voleva che io facessi da bambina? Chi avrebbe mai pensato che da grande il mio piacere più grande d'inverno sarebbe stato quello di coprirmi in un bel maglione o cardigan a maglia come questo che ho ordinato sul sito Manzara? Non di certo mia madre, lei mi chiede tuttora, ti sei coperta bene, perché per qualche motivo dopo una certa età quando pensiamo ad una persona la vediamo sempre con gli occhi della memoria, attraverso i nostri ricordi lontani anche se la persona ormai è cambiata, è cresciuta, lavora, ha le rughe e magari inconsciamente si comporta esattamente come le era stato insegnato in infanzia.  
In più, da fashion blogger che sono, vi ricordo che quest'inverno i cardigan a maglia vanno molto di moda come anche i maglioni. Ad un certo punto qualcuno mi chiese con una evidente punta di ironia: "Scusa, ma se la moda dicesse che bisogna girare in strada in pigiama, cosa faresti? Andresti in giro in pigiama?" Tralasciando il fatto che i tempi verbali giusti li ho aggiunti io adesso, perché nella domanda originale non c'erano, e ammetto il mio sarcasmo, andare in giro in pigiama va di moda di nuovo quest'anno così come è successo qualche anno fa e come succederà ancora ma non per questo bisogna uscire in strada cosi come ci svegliamo la mattina. Il senso per la moda è sublime, delicato, c'è chi nasce dotato e poi diventa famoso, c'è chi legge, lavora, s'impegna e poi ha dei buoni risultati e c'è poi chi crede di saperne più di una e fa delle domande molto "argute". 
A tutti coloro che vogliono uscire in strada vestiti in camicie o completi di seta che ricordano "il pigiama" e che amano stare al caldo come me, dico solo che aggiungendo un maglione soffice o un cardigan a maglia sotto il capotto starano al passo con il trend e non avranno freddo. Voi che ne pensate invece? Vi piacciono i vestiti a maglia?

That's why every now and then I still look at photos from that period on my cell phone, and on Sunday I send my wishes on WhatsApp using those photos. That's why I still like to linger with a cinnamon and ginger flavored cup of hot tea while I read a book wrapped in a nice warm and soft sweater. Of course, we are in January and it's still cold and therefore having nice warm sweaters is very suitable, actually I might say a must. But to tell you the truth, looking at my wardrobe I realize that there are many more knitted cardigans than real sweaters. I don't know, but having a knitted cardigan besides the fact that it allows me to wear lighter stuff underneath, like a shirt, also gives me an extra feeling of safety and well-being. Everything to keep the cold out and away from my body. I seem to hear my mother repeating me as a child, cover yourself well, you don't have to get cold, who would have thought that when I grew up I would have behaved exactly as she wanted me to do as a child? Who would have thought that my greatest pleasure in winter would have been to cover myself in a nice sweater or knitted cardigan like this one I ordered on the Manzara website? Certainly not my mother, she still asks me, you covered yourself well, because for some reason after a certain age when we think of a person we always see her with the eyes of the memory, through our distant reminiscences even if the person has now changed , has grown, works, has wrinkles and perhaps unconsciously behaves exactly as she was taught in childhood.
In addition, since I'm a fashion blogger, I remind you that this winter knitted cardigans are very fashionable as well as sweaters. How was your New Year's Eve? Did you have fun? I know I did, I had good company, talked with friends, had good food and good wine and most of all we had a fantastic and gigantic cake. When they presented the cake to us, all the other guests at the event started taking photos with their smartphones, it was delirious. When I watched all that people I couldn't take my eyes off their phone cases and wonder, couldn't they get better phone cases? 🤭😅 

Then I thought that maybe they had no idea on where to get them and fyystore.com came to my mind. One can shop for iPad cases, laptop and notebook bags, office products, holster cases and believe or nor they also have crossbody bags for women, makeup cosmetic bags and pet carriers. I could spend an entire day looking through their proposals without getting bored at all.

Lately I was thinking of getting a new smartphone and I was considering getting an iPhone 11 and before deciding on the phone itself I was considering the accessories because I am first of all a woman and a sensitive and artistic person. Quando ci hanno portato la torta per vederla, tutti gli altri ospiti dell'evento hanno iniziato a scattare foto con il loro smartphone, è stato delirante. Quando guardavo tutte quelle persone non riuscivo a distogliere lo sguardo dalle loro custodie e mi chiedevo, non potevano trovare custodie migliori e più carine? 🤭😅 Poi ho pensato che forse non avevano idea di dove trovarli e fyystore.com mi è venuto in mente. Potrei passare un'intera giornata a guardare le loro proposte senza annoiarmi affatto.Ultimamente stavo pensando di acquistare un nuovo smartphone e stavo pensando di acquistare un iPhone 11 e prima di decidere sul telefono stesso stavo prendendo in considerazione gli accessori perché sono prima di tutto una donna e una persona sensibile e creativa. Pertanto ho visitato questo sito alla ricerca di una custodia per iPhone 11 e ho notato che avevano diverse proposte di custodie di lusso in vera pelle. Tutte queste custodie mi danno una sensazione di eleganza, raffinatezza e buon gusto. Anche se non riesco ad avere un iPhone 11, non sarà così facile visto i costi, ho ancora la possibilità di cambiare la custodia telefono del mio Android perché come potete anche vedere, hanno così tante belle e interessanti proposte anche per gli android e si potrebbe comunque fare una buona impressione quando si tira fuori il telefono per scattare una foto.
