Ricordi caldi e profumati / Warm and scented memories

Ciao carissimi lettori,
Come va? Ecco, io sono molto nostalgica, non triste ma semplicemente nostalgica,  ho un senso di mancanza e malinconia dentro... Nostalgica per le feste invernali che sono appena passate, per i miei bellissimi alberi di Natale, per le pietanze natalizie e per le bellissime decorazioni con le quali avevo riempito la casa. Ecco perché ogni tanto guardo ancora sul cellulare le foto di quel periodo, e di domenica mando gli auguri su WhatsApp usando quelle foto. Ecco perché mi piace ancora indugiare in una tazza di tè bollente aromatizzato alla cannella e zenzero mentre leggo un libro avvolta in un bel maglione caldo e soffice. Certo, siamo a gennaio e fa ancora freddo e quindi avere dei bei maglioni caldi è molto indicato, anzi d'obbligo direi. Ma a dire la verità, guardando la mia guardaroba mi rendo conto che ci sono molti più cardigan lavorati a maglia che maglioni veri e propri. Non lo so, ma avere un cardigan a maglia oltre al fatto che mi permette di indossare roba più leggera sotto, come una camicia,  mi da anche una sensazione in più di sicurezza e di benessere. Tutto per tenere il freddo fuori e lontano dal mio corpo. Mi sembra di sentire mia madre che da bambina mi ripeteva, copriti bene, non devi prendere freddo, chi avrebbe mai pensato che da grande mi sarei comportata esattamente come le voleva che io facessi da bambina? Chi avrebbe mai pensato che da grande il mio piacere più grande d'inverno sarebbe stato quello di coprirmi in un bel maglione o cardigan a maglia come questo che ho ordinato sul sito Manzara? Non di certo mia madre, lei mi chiede tuttora, ti sei coperta bene, perché per qualche motivo dopo una certa età quando pensiamo ad una persona la vediamo sempre con gli occhi della memoria, attraverso i nostri ricordi lontani anche se la persona ormai è cambiata, è cresciuta, lavora, ha le rughe e magari inconsciamente si comporta esattamente come le era stato insegnato in infanzia.  
In più, da fashion blogger che sono, vi ricordo che quest'inverno i cardigan a maglia vanno molto di moda come anche i maglioni. Ad un certo punto qualcuno mi chiese con una evidente punta di ironia: "Scusa, ma se la moda dicesse che bisogna girare in strada in pigiama, cosa faresti? Andresti in giro in pigiama?" Tralasciando il fatto che i tempi verbali giusti li ho aggiunti io adesso, perché nella domanda originale non c'erano, e ammetto il mio sarcasmo, andare in giro in pigiama va di moda di nuovo quest'anno così come è successo qualche anno fa e come succederà ancora ma non per questo bisogna uscire in strada cosi come ci svegliamo la mattina. Il senso per la moda è sublime, delicato, c'è chi nasce dotato e poi diventa famoso, c'è chi legge, lavora, s'impegna e poi ha dei buoni risultati e c'è poi chi crede di saperne più di una e fa delle domande molto "argute". 
A tutti coloro che vogliono uscire in strada vestiti in camicie o completi di seta che ricordano "il pigiama" e che amano stare al caldo come me, dico solo che aggiungendo un maglione soffice o un cardigan a maglia sotto il capotto starano al passo con il trend e non avranno freddo. Voi che ne pensate invece? Vi piacciono i vestiti a maglia?

How are you? Now, I am very nostalgic, not sad but simply nostalgic, I have a sense of emtiness and melancholy inside... Nostalgic for the winter holidays that have just passed, for my beautiful Christmas trees, for the Christmas foods and for the beautiful decorations with which I had filled the house. That's why every now and then I still look at photos from that period on my cell phone, and on Sunday I send my wishes on WhatsApp using those photos. That's why I still like to linger with a cinnamon and ginger flavored cup of hot tea while I read a book wrapped in a nice warm and soft sweater. Of course, we are in January and it's still cold and therefore having nice warm sweaters is very suitable, actually I might say a must. But to tell you the truth, looking at my wardrobe I realize that there are many more knitted cardigans than real sweaters. I don't know, but having a knitted cardigan besides the fact that it allows me to wear lighter stuff underneath, like a shirt, also gives me an extra feeling of safety and well-being. Everything to keep the cold out and away from my body. I seem to hear my mother repeating me as a child, cover yourself well, you don't have to get cold, who would have thought that when I grew up I would have behaved exactly as she wanted me to do as a child? Who would have thought that my greatest pleasure in winter would have been to cover myself in a nice sweater or knitted cardigan like this one I ordered on the Manzara website? Certainly not my mother, she still asks me, you covered yourself well, because for some reason after a certain age when we think of a person we always see her with the eyes of the memory, through our distant reminiscences even if the person has now changed , has grown, works, has wrinkles and perhaps unconsciously behaves exactly as she was taught in childhood.
In addition, since I'm a fashion blogger, I remind you that this winter knitted cardigans are very fashionable as well as sweaters. At some point someone asked me with an evident hint of irony: "Sorry, but if fashion said you had to walk on street in your pajamas, what would you do? Would you go around in your pajamas?" Leaving aside the fact that the right verbes have been added by me now, because in the original question they were not, and I admit my sarcasm, going around in pajamas is in trend again this year as it happened a few years ago and as it will happen again but not for this we have to go out on the street as we wake up in the morning. The sense for fashion is sublime, delicate, there are those who are born gifted and then become famous, there are those who read, work, commit themselves and then have good results and then there are those who believe they know one more than the devil and ask very "witty" questions.To all those who want to go out on the street dressed in shirts or silk suits that remind the "pajamas" and who like to stay warm like me, I just say that adding a soft sweater or a knitted cardigan under the coat will keep up with the trend and they won't be cold. Confidence and Newchic ideas

I recently saw a movie about beauty, self-esteem and confidence that made me realize the fact that we are the ones deciding who we want to be and the way people sees us depends on us and on the way we are seeing and treating ourselves. To cut it short, the conclusion of that movie was the fact that it depends on us to be perceived as beautiful, we have to choose the path, the shoes and to walk our person in becoming that gorgeous woman or man we know we are. Believe me, in life, the way we walk talks loudly about who we are. Don't you agree? Whether we are active girls wearing women walking sandals or women penny loafers, the miles we walk feeling comfortable and carefree can shape our personality and can determine how the others will report to us. Feeling comfortable is very important and can help us stay true to ourselves because as soon as we forget that we need to feel at ease, we will stop believing in ourselves. 
 If you know you are a classy chic person that can't live without high heels then don't be afraid of wearing them because people might say you are a snob because when you start doubting yourself, your value will decrease and you will become what other say about you. You need to repeat yourself that you are great and people will love you and the prophecy will accomplish. I studied this phenomenon in college and I know that if you believe that you will rock your shoes, you will look amazing whether you're wearing stilettos or women water sandals. Sandals are not only very comfortable but they are also chic and elegant. Can you imagine a boho outfit pared up with a a pair of gorgeous lace up gladiator sandals? I do and I know that such a look would be perfect for summer. 
We have to acknowledge who we are and make ourseleves feel comfortable and safe in our skin. I see people being afraid of showing who they really are because they are afraid of being judged or treated different but if we stop being afraid of showing who we are people will start treating us as we deserve. Don't be afraid of showing your ethnicity and wear your socofy shoes with confidence and style.

Yoins - My favourite shopping online experience

Today I will talk to you again about another collaboration and shopping experience. This time also the site is Yoins, a international clothing and accessories online store. First of all I want to tell you that the time of delivery was very fast, the items arrived and great conditions and I received mails of notifications of the process the entire time. Let me talk to you now about the products chosen by me but first I want to assure you that even if these products were given to me, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them and form now on Yoins became my favorite online shopping site  when talking about clothing. The first item is this gorgeous and very comfortable bodycon dress. I chose the black color for this dress but it also comes in green and khaki colors. As you ca see it has a casual style but with the right accessories, jewelry, shoes and overcoat it can also became perfect for an elegant evening out, important work reunion or party dress with friends. As you can see it has a deep v neck, long sleeves and an interesting pattern buttons on the front. The most important thing in my opinion is the quality of the textile. In description it is mentioned polyester and spandex but let me assure you that the textile is very soft to the touch and malleable. I had no problems putting it on and as for the size I would like to invite you to read the size chart for every product because are very well done and precise and they are true to your measurements.  I chose a size XL because I have a large bust and it fits very well and is very comfortable to the movements. This dress became my favourite dress for autumn, winter and spring from now on. 

The second product I ordered is this Red Lace-up Front Design Grid Pattern Deep V-NeckBlouse and as you can see it represents perfectly this seasons trend thanks to the colors, plaid pattern and flannel like fabric.  I love the shape of this blouse, very flattering for every body shape and the fabric, very soft to the touch almost like a cotton ball. The description of the item says it is made of polyester and other but it is amazing good to the touch, doesn’t make you sweat and all in all is very comfortable. This blouse has a deep v neck line with a very interesting lace-up design that allows you to set the cleavage accordingly to your body shape, taste or decency, me for instance , because  just as I mentioned before, I have a problem of large bust, I keep half of the lace completely closed creating and interesting shape to it but as you can see it ca also be worn more loose for a sexy and daring look.  This blouse has a casual style and is perfect for work, leisure, a walk in the park, a reunion at the bar with friends and much more. I was thinking of wearing it together with some ripped jeans and an intense zombie make-up for Halloween, it would be perfect, don’t you agree? Just for the other item I advise you to read carefully the measure chart because you can’t go wrong if you read it.

Pavia - una passeggiata fashion nella storia / Pavia - a fashion walk in history

Carissimi lettori,

Oggi ritorno a parlarvi di un altro posto favoloso in Italia e come sempre ne aggiungerò anche qualche foto fashion, in questo caso, vi parlerò un po’ della città di Pavia. Pavia, è una delle mie città preferite in Lombardia per quanto riguarda i monumenti, la storia ma anche per quanto riguarda la sua organizzazione.  Pavia è una città che possa andar bene a tutti, indipendentemente dall'età, professione o sesso perché ha dei bellissimi parchi ad ogni angolo, monumenti affascinanti, università, cinema, negozi, mezzi di trasporto, ospedali, qualsiasi cosa serva, Pavia probabilmente ce l’ha. In passato avevo molte più occasioni di visitare questa città e passarci una giornata ma stranamente visto che c’ero lì tutti i mesi non mi ero veramente interessata alla sua storia o ai suoi monumenti, e solo adesso che non ho più occasione di farlo che divento anche un po’ turista. Pavia è situata a circa 38 km a sud di Milano ed è capoluogo della provincia omonima. La sua storia risale all'epoca delle tribù galliche, poi sotto l’impero romano divenne municipium con il nome di Ticinum e nel medioevo fu capitale del regno longobardo e dal 1361 anche sede universitaria. I monumenti più rilevanti di questa città sono: il castello Visconteo, basilica di San Pietro in Ciel d’Oro, basilica di San Michele Maggiore, il Duomo, il Ponte Coperto e l’università degli studi di Pavia la quale essendo fondata nel 1361 è una fra le più antiche al mondo riunendo nei suoi musei le sue collezioni e incantando la vista con un bellissimo giardino di rose e piante medicinali. Oggi vi parlerò solo di 2 di questi monumenti, il Castello Visconteo e il Ponte Coperto. Il Ponte Coperto è un ponte sul fiume Ticino a Pavia e collega il centro storico con il pittoresco quartiere di Borgo Ticino. Il presente ponte coperto è stato costruito nel 1949 dopo che il vecchio ponte risalente al 1354 fu demolito durante la seconda guerra mondiale. La nuova costruzione cerca di riprodurre al meglio il vecchio ponte, ha cinque arcate, l’originale ne aveva sette, è coperto con due portali alle estremità e una piccola cappella religiosa in centro. Sul ponte è possibile leggere una targa con una frasi che il scienziato Albert Einstein aveva scritto in una lettera ad un amico: “Ho spesso pensato al bel ponte di Pavia”.

Today I return to talk to you about another fabulous place in Italy and as always I will also add some fashion photos, in this case, I will talk a bit about the city of Pavia. Pavia, is one of my favorite cities in Lombardy for its monuments, history but also for its organization. Pavia is a city that can suit everyone, regardless of age, profession or sex because it has beautiful parks at every corner, fascinating monuments, universities, cinemas, shops, means of transportation, hospitals, anything you need, Pavia probably has it. In the past I had many more opportunities to visit this city and spend a day but strangely, since I was there every month, I was not really interested in its history or its monuments, and only now that I no longer have the opportunity to do that, I became also a tourist. Pavia is located about 38 km south of Milan and is the capital of the homonymous province. Its history goes back to the time of the Gallic tribes, then under the Roman empire it became a municipium with the name of Ticinum and in the Middle Ages it was the capital of the Lombard kingdom and from 1361 also the university. The most important monuments of this city are: the Visconti castle, the basilica of San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro, the basilica of San Michele Maggiore, the Duomo, the Covered Bridge and the University of Pavia, which was founded in 1361 one of the oldest in the world gathering its collections in its museums and enchanting the view with a beautiful garden of roses and medicinal plants. Today I will speak only of 2 of these monuments, the Visconti Castle and the Covered Bridge. The Covered Bridge is a bridge over the Ticino river in Pavia and connects the historic center with the picturesque district of Borgo Ticino. The present covered bridge was built in 1949 after the old bridge dating back to 1354 was demolished during the Second World War. The new building tries to reproduce at best the old bridge,it has five arches, the original had seven, is covered with two portals at the ends and a small religious chapel in the center. On the bridge you can read a plaque with a sentence that the scientist Albert Einstein wrote in a letter to a friend: "I often thought of the beautiful bridge of Pavia". 

Il secondo monumento di cui intendo parlarvi è il Castello Visconteo costruito nel 1360 da Galleazzo II Visconti in stile gotico internazionale come residenza di caccia. Il parco di caccia per il qualle era stato costruito si estendeva per decine di chilometri fino a Certosa di Pavia e anche se esiste tuttora ma non è più collegato al castello. Anche se inizialmente il castello era stato costruito come una cittadella fortificata, nei secoli succesivi ha conosciuto anche uno svilluppo artisitico e ha ospitato il matrimonio di Ludovico il Moro e Beatrice d’Este. Dopo il saccheggio della guerra della Lega di Cognac la bellissima residenza è divenuta caserma e succesivamente, dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, sede di musei civici e della Pinacoteca Malaspina. Davanti al castello è possibile ammirare la statua di Giuseppe Garibaldi che raffigura l’eroe su una roccia adornata con le allegorie del leone che rappresenta la forza del popolo e della vittoria che spezza le catene. Tutte queste informazioni sono reperibili su internet con una semplice ricerca per la città di Pavia.

Per visitare questi imponenti monumenti ho scelto una tuta nera leggerissima ma sobria che ho completato con un berretto vintage in lana di colore marrone che richiama la tonalità dei mattoni di questi edifici e con una tracolla Carpisa in colori molto vivi per spezzare la sobrietà e richiamare il caldo dell’estate appena passata. The second monument of which I intend to speak to you is the Visconti Castle built in 1360 by Galleazzo II Visconti in international Gothic style as a hunting lodge. The hunting park for which it was built extended tens of kilometers to Certosa di Pavia and it still exists but is no longer connected to the castle. Although initially the castle was built as a fortified citadel, over the centuries it has also known an artistic development and has hosted the marriage of Ludovico il Moro and Beatrice d'Este. After the looting during the war of the League of Cognac, the beautiful residence became a military barrack and later, after the Second World War, the seat of civic museums and the Malaspina Art Gallery. In front of the castle it is possible to admire the statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi depicting the hero on a rock adorned with the allegories of the lion representing the strength of the people and of the victory that breaks the chains. All this information can be found on the internet with a simple search for the city of Pavia.To visit these impressive monuments I chose a light but sober black jumpuit that I completed with a wool brown vintage cap that recalls the brick stones of these buildings and with a Carpisa shoulder strap in very vivid colors to break the sobriety and recall the warmth of the summer that just passed.
