A Natale dona un sorriso

Esseri gracili, tristi in perenne ricerca

Vulnerabili ed inconsapevoli che

Un sorriso può fare la differenza,

Solo Cose Belle - Dicembre 2021 / Only Neautiful Things - December 2021

Carissimi lettori, 

Per il post di oggi vi parlerò di un'altra iniziativa che la blogger Fioredicollina ha ideato per rendere il Natale un momento magico per i blogger che hanno scelto di partecipare, cioè lo swap di cartoline, decorazioni e auguri di Natale. Ognuno dei partecipanti avrebbe inviato cartoline con auguri di Natale ma sfortunatamente anche se noi abbiamo spedito le missive a inizio del mese, purtroppo non tutte le cartoline sono arrivate in tempo per Natale. La cartolina e la decorazione di Ros, fatte rigorosamente a mano, sono arrivate addirittura il 10 gennaio. 

Anche se ormai il Natale è passato da un po', ritengo che condividere le cose che mi hanno rallegrato il mese di Dicembre, sia comunque una cosa molto bella, anzi bellissima. 

Forse rivivere certi momenti vi farà piacere. Un abbraccio a tutti voi!

For today's post I will talk to you about another initiative that the blogger Fioredicollina has created to make Christmas a magical moment for bloggers who have chosen to participate, that is, the swap of postcards, decorations and Christmas wishes.  Each of the attendees would send postcards with Christmas wishes but unfortunately even though we sent the missives at the beginning of the month, sadly not all postcards arrived in time for Christmas.

Even though Christmas has been over for a while now, I believe that sharing the things that cheered up the month of December for me, is still a very beautiful thing, actually,  wonderful.

Carissimi lettori e amici, 

È arrivato finalmente il momento di condividere con voi le cose belle che ho vissuto questo mese. Prima di tutto, voglio dire che il mese corrente è stato un mese ricco di cose belle per me al pari del mese scorso e non vedo l'ora che arrivi Dicembre nella speranza che mi porti delle altre cose altrettanto belle. 

Come prima cosa bella che voglio condividere con voi è il fantastico albero di Natale che abbiamo addobbato in attesa delle feste natalizie. Abbiamo sempre avuto  un'albero di Natale di dimensioni regolari ma quest'anno mio marito mi disse che era ora di prendere uno più grande. E cosi, abbiamo comprato un'albero alto 2 metri e 30 centimetri che mio marito e una persona che per il momento non rivelo ancora, hanno accuratamente addobbato sotto le mie direttive. Ovviamente abbiamo comprato anche qualche addobbo in più, altre luci e altre ghirlande ma come potete vedere, il risultato merita decisamente lo sforzo.

Dear readers and dear friends,

The time has finally come to share with you the beautiful things I experienced this month. First of all, I want to say that the current month has been a month full of beautiful things for me like last month and I am looking forward to December in the hope that it will bring me other equally beautiful things.

The first beautiful thing that I want to share with you is the fantastic Christmas tree that we have decorated in anticipation of the Christmas holidays. We've always had a regular sized Christmas tree but this year my husband told me it was time to get a bigger one. And so, we bought a tree 2 meters and 30 centimeters tall that my husband and a person who for the moment I do not reveal yet, have carefully decorated under my directives. Of course we also bought some more decorations, other lights and other garlands but as you can see, the result is totally worth the effort.

Un'altra cosa bella relativa a questo mese che avevo condiviso in anteprima con qualcuno di voi, è che durante le ferie autunnali, sono riuscita a fare un piccolo viaggio in montagna, a Livigno per esattezza dove sin dall'inizio mi aspettava un stupendo paesaggio invernale. Siccome questo post si chiama solo cose belle, vi farò vedere solo le cose belle di questo momento ma forse qualcuno intuirà che ci sono stati anche dei contrattempi o ostacoli senza che io li nominassi. Certo che svegliarsi al mattino con un simile panorama o viaggiare e arrivare subito ad essere circondato dalle nuvole può mettere su un secondo piano qualsiasi problema. 

ENG: Another nice thing about this month that I had shared a preview with some of you, is that during the autumn holidays, I was able to take a little trip to the mountains, to Livigno to be exact where a wonderful wintwer landscape awaited me already. Since this post is called only beautiful things, I will show you only the beautiful things of this moment but perhaps someone will understand that there have also been setbacks or obstacles without me naming them. Of course, waking up in the morning with such a view or traveling and immediately being surrounded by clouds can put any problem in the backround.

Poi come ultima cosa bella che condivido con voi e che non ho condiviso sui social perché volevo conservare la sorpresa e la cosa più bella per questo post, è il fatto che ho rivisto finalmente mia madre dopo circa 3 anni nei quali ci siamo sentite solo al telefono e viste solo su Whatsapp. Avete dunque indovinato chi è stata la persona misteriosa ad aiutarci con i preparativi natalizi? 

ENG: Then as the last nice thing that I share with you and that I have not shared on social networks because I wanted to keep the surprise and the best thing for this post, is the fact that I finally saw my mother again after almost 3 years in which we heared ourselves only on the phone and saw each other only on Whatsapp. So have you guessed who was the mysterious person who helped us with the Christmas preparations?

Solo Cose Belle mese di Dicembre e una sorpresa / Only Beautiful Things month of December and a surprise

Ciao carissimi lettori,

Finalmente ritorno con la puntata Solo Cose Belle relativa al mese di Dicembre e per questo mese avrei tante belle cose da condividere con voi. Prima di tutto, ho sempre aspettato con impazienza il mese di Dicembre perché questo mese si festeggia il Natale e da quando sono piccola per me questa festa è sempre stata molto speciale. Adoro il Natale perché mi piace addobbare gli alberi, come potrete vedere ne abbiamo due alberi grandi e qualche altro alberello piccolino, mi piace preparare la casa, riempirla di cianfrusaglie natalizie e candele profumate ma soprattutto adoro il Natale perché è il mese dei regali. Qualcuno aveva notato un po' di tempo fa che a me piace più fare regali che riceverli, non so quanto sia vera questa affermazione ma quello che è vero è che adoro preparare con le mie manine i pacchettini e vedere l'emozione negli occhi di chi li riceve. In questa puntata quindi vi farò vedere i miei alberi di Natale e qualche scatto delle diverse decorazioni.

Finally I return with the episode Only Beautiful Things for the month of December and for this month I would have many beautiful things to share with you. First of all, I have always looked forward to the month of December because Christmas is celebrated this month and since I was little this holiday has always been very special for me. I love Christmas because I like to decorate the trees, as you can see we have two normal size Christmas trees and some other small one, I like to prepare the house, fill it with Christmas trinkets and scented candles but above all I love Christmas because it is the month of gifts. Someone had noticed some time ago that I like more giving gifts than receiving them, I don't know how true thas statement was but what is true is that I love to prepare packages with my hands and see the emotion in the eyes of those who receive them. In this episode, therefore, I will show you my Christmas trees and some shots of the different decorations.

Vorrei però parlarvi di un evento che mi emozionata moltissimo, evento che è stato una bellissima sorpresa per me. Alla fine del mese di novembre avevo vinto il Giveaway del Blog Anniversario della mia amica blogger Lulù e a Dicembre ho ricevuto il suo premio sorpresa che vorrei condividere con voi in questo post. Come potete notare lei ha una manualità straordinaria e ha ricamato con tanta precisione 2 presine da cucina a tema "mele" che io adoro tantissimo e ho collocato con molto entusiasmo nella mia cucina. Non so come abbia fatto Lulù ma ha pure indovinato il fatto che le mele sono fra i miei frutti preferiti, ogni giorno ne mangio una mela e quindi avere queste presine tanto carine mi ha fatto un enorme piacere. Inoltre queste presine sono state accompagnate da una deliziosa cartolina realizzata con molta cura e precisione sempre da lei. La gioia di ricevere questo dono mi ha messo di buon umore tutta la settimana e gliene sono veramente grata.

I would also like to talk to you about an event that moved me very much, an event that was a wonderful surprise for me. At the end of November I had won the Giveaway of my blogger friend Lulù's Anniversary Blog and in December I received her surprise award which I would like to share with you in this post. As you can see, she has an extraordinary dexterity and has embroidered with great precision 2 "apple" themed kitchen pot holders which I love very much and have enthusiastically placed in my kitchen. I don't know how Lulu did it but she also guessed the fact that apples are among my favorite fruits, every day I eat an apple and therefore having these very nice pot holders, gave me a huge pleasure. In addition, these pot holders were accompanied by a delightful postcard made with great care and precision always by her. The joy of receiving this gift has put me in a good mood all week and I am truly grateful to her.

È Natale! / It's Christmas time!

Il Natale è uno dei periodi preferiti dell’anno per me, è un periodo che aspetto sempre impazientemente con largo anticipo, un periodo per cui mi preparo sempre al meglio e cerco di fare sempre del mio meglio. Molto spesso sono in viaggio per Natale perché mi piace scoprire la magia del Natale sotto la neve, spesso in montagna o in qualunque posto dove regna la gioia e lo spirito natalizio. Non ho mai creduto neanche da bambina in quel vecchio Babbo Natale perché riconoscevo sempre mio zio o mia zia nascosti sotto il costume rosso pesante e sotto la barba bianca di cottone improvvisata  ma ho sempre creduto che Babbo Natale sta in ogni persona che ci vuole bene e che ama vederci felici e contenti. Quindi anche se quest’anno sono lontana da casa per Natale in un viaggio che è cominciato qualche settimana prima e di cui potete trovare le mie foto e testimonianze seguendomi su Instagram e Facebook, sono sicura che “Babbo Natale” mi troverà lo stesso. Come potete vedere gli ho spiegato bene cosa vorrei per questo Natale e lui ha acconsentito quindi non mi resta che fare il mio albero di Natale, più di uno, nel caso dovesse venire e cercarmi anche a casa e aspettare che arrivi. Mi domando se nel pacchettino che Babbo Natale ha in mano c’è il mio regalo...

Vi ringrazio per essere passati salutarmi in questo periodo e vi auguro molta gioia, felicità, serenità e amore. Spero che Babbo Natale vi trovi dovunque voi siate e spero che avrete occasione di celebrare il Natale con le persone che amiate di più al mondo. Fino ad allora vi faccio deliziare con qualche foto del mio viaggio fino ad adesso, con la promessa che ne tornerò a parlare di più di ogni favoloso posto invitandovi anche a venire a trovarmi anche sui social dove potete scoprire di più in tempo quasi reale.  Un bacio e Buon Natale cari amici!

Christmas is one of the favorite periods of the year for me, it's a period that I always wait impatiently well in advance, a period for which I always prepare myself to the best and I always try my best. Very often I travel for Christmas because I like to discover the magic of Christmas in the snow, often in the mountains or in some places where the joy and the Christmas spirit reign. I never believed as a child in an old man named Santa Claus because I always recognized my uncle or my aunt hidden under the heavy red costume and under the white cotton improvised beard  but I always believed that Santa Claus is in every person who loves us and wants to see us joyfull and happy. So even if this year I'm far from home for Christmas on a journey that began a few weeks before and you can find my photos and testimonies following me on Instagram and Facebook, I'm sure that "Santa Claus" will find me anyway. As you can see I explained to him very well what I would like for this Christmas and he has consented so I just have to make my own Christmas tree, more than one, in case he should come and look for me at home and wait for it to arrive. I wonder if in the pack that Santa Claus is holding is my gift ...
