Inainte ca aceasta vara sa se sfarseasca si cat inca mai avem posbiliatea sa mergem la mare, trebuie neaparat sa va vorbesc despre un alt loc minunat din Italia. Acest loc se numeste Tropea si este un alt loc cu o mare spectaculoasa, peisaje care iti taie respiratia, monumente impresionante si o bucatarie delicioasa. Va asigur ca atunci cand veti vedea fotografiile realizate, va veti dori sa ajungeti cat mai repede pe aceasta plaja si sa va scaldati in aceasta mare cristalina. Tropea este un orasel pe coasta orientala a Calabriei, Calabria fiind usor de identificat pe harta Italiei ca fiind varful cizmei, este cunoscut in special datorita centrului vechi construit intr-o stanca, plajelelor din zona inferioara cunoscuta sub denumirea “Marina”dar  si datorita renumitei cepe de Tropea, o ceapa rosie mult mai dulce decat ceapa alba sau galbena obisnuita care nu cauzeaza lacrimarea ochilor. Legenda spune ca Tropea a fost fondata de Hercule care intorcandu-se din Spania, Coloanele lui Hercule, s-a oprit pe coasta de sud a Italiei iar in zonele limitrofe au fost descoperite necropole din perioada magno-greaca. Eu am vizitat acest loc intr-un sfarsit de saptamana din concediul de doua saptamani petrecut in Puglia in luna iulie a acestui an si marturisesc ca m-am indragostit de frumusetea sa. Daca ajungeti in Tropea nu puteti pierde o plimbare prin centrul orasului unde puteti admira cladiri, monumente si palate nobiliare care stau marturie istoriei acestui oras care a vazut epoca bizantina si a prosperat in timpul Normanzilor si Aragonezilor. Unul din aceste monumente pe care nu puteti sa il pierdeti este Catedrala Sfintei Maria de Romania, construita in anul 1100 de catre Normanzi in stil roman, care conține icoana sacra a Fecioarei din România, protectoarea orașului. Legenda spune ca aceasta icoana a fost furata de marinari din Tropea de pe o nava ce provenea din orientul bizantin impinsa in portul din Tropea de o furtuna si din acest motiv poarta numele de Fecioara di Romania. Aceasi legenda nareaza ca episcopul orasului visase in mod repetat icoana care ii cerea sa ramana in Tropea si ulterior ar fii protejat orasul si locuitorii sai in diverse napaste ce au lovit acest oras. O plimbare prin centrul orasului va va permite si sa va bucurati privirea, mirosul si papilele gustative cu produse de la nenumaratii negutatori, barurile si cofetariile strategic dispuse. Inainte insa sa urcati in centru, nu puteti pierde emblema orasului, Sanctuarul Sfintei Maria din Insula Tropea, un monument costruit pe stanca in fata orasului Tropea unde locuisera in precedenta calugari. Biserica are origini medievale iar statuia in lemn a fecioarei Maria ce se gaseste aici ajuns in perioada iconoclastica si se vorbeste ca ar savarsi miracole si ar fi vindecat numerosi bolnavi. Este curioasa si legenda acestei statui care a inceput sa savarseasca miracole dupa ce in prealabil a pedepsit pe cei ce au incercat sa o mutileze. Cand iesiti din aceasta biserica, puteti vizita superba gradina de plante exotice si puteti admira fantastica panorama asupra marii, un loc in care natura explodeaza in toata frumusetea si gratia sa. Ca un ultim detaliu, va informez ca pentru a vizita Sanctuarul de pe stanca trebuie sa cumparati bilet de la chioscul de pe scara, costul este unul modic iar jos aveti o ampla parcare cu plata, deasemeni la preturi modice.

Prima che quest'estate finisca e finché abbiamo ancora la possibilità di andare al mare, devo assolutamente parlarvi di un altro fantastico posto in Italia. Questo posto si chiama Tropea ed è un altro luogo con un mare spettacolare, paesaggi mozzafiato, monumenti impressionanti e una cucina squisita. Vi assicuro che quando vedrete le foto che ho scattato, vorrete arrivare su questa spiaggia il prima possibile e immergervi in questo mare cristallino. Tropea è una piccola città sulla costa orientale della Calabria, Calabria essendo facilmente identificabile sulla mappa dell'Italia come la punta dello stivale, è conosciuta principalmente per l'antico centro costruito su una roccia, le spiagge della zona bassa conosciuta come "Marina", ma anche per le famose Cipolle di Tropea, una cipolla rossa molto più dolce della normale cipolla bianca o gialla che non fa lacrimare gli occhi. La leggenda narra che Tropea è stata fondata da Ercole che di ritorno dalla Spagna, dalle Colonne d'Ercole, si è fermato sulla costa meridionale d'Italia e nelle zone circostanti sono stati rinvenute tombe del periodo magno-greco. Ho visitato questo posto in un weekend nella mia vacanza di due settimane in Puglia questo luglio e confesso che mi sono innamorata della sua bellezza. Una volta arrivati a Tropea non potete perdervi una passeggiata nel centro storico dove si possono ammirare edifici, monumenti e palazzi nobiliari che testimoniano la storia di questa città che ha visto l'epoca bizantina e ha prosperato durante il dominio dei Normanna e degli Aragonesi. Uno di questi monumenti da non perdere è la Cattedrale di Maria Santissima di Romania, costruita nel 1100 dai Normanni in stile romano, contenente l'icona sacra della Vergine di Romania, protettrice della città. La leggenda narra che questa icona fu trafugata da marinai tropeani ad una nave proveniente dall'oriente bizantino e  spinta nel porto di Tropea da una tempesta e perciò venne chiamata Madonna della Romania. La stessa leggenda narra che il vescovo della città ha ripetutamente sognato l'icona che chiedeva di restare a Tropea e da quel momento ha protetto la città e i suoi abitanti in vari momenti difficili che hanno colpito questa città. Una passeggiata nel centro della città vi permetterà di gioire i vostri occhi, l'olfatto e le papille gustative con prodotti provenienti da innumerevoli commercianti, bar e pasticcerie strategicamente disposte. Ma prima di salire al centro, non potete mancare l'emblema della città, il Santuario di Santa Maria dell'Isola di Tropea, un monumento costruito sulla roccia di fronte alla città, dove vissero in precedenza dei monaci. La chiesa ha origini medievali e la statua della Vergine Maria che si trova qui, è arrivata nel periodo iconoclastico e si dice che abbia fatto miracoli e curato molti malati. È curiosa anche la leggenda di questa statua che abbia iniziato a fare miracoli dopo aver precedentemente punito coloro che hanno cercato di mutilarla. Fuori da questa chiesa, è possibile visitare il bellissimo giardino di piante esotiche e ammirare il fantastico panorama del mare, un luogo dove la natura esplode in tutta la sua bellezza e grazia. Come ultimo dettaglio, vorrei informarvi che per visitare il Santuario sulla roccia è necessario acquistare un biglietto nel chioschetto sulla scala per salire, il costo è modico e in basso c'è un ampio parcheggio a pagamento, anche esso a prezzi modici.

Before this summer ends and as long as we still have the chance to go to the beach, I must absolutely tell you about another fantastic place in Italy. This place is called Tropea and is another place with a spectacular sea, breathtaking scenery, impressive monuments and exquisite cuisine. I assure you that when you see the photos I've taken, you'll want to get to this beach as soon as possible and immerse yourself in this crystalline sea. Tropea is a small town on the eastern coast of Calabria, Calabria being easily identifiable on the map of Italy as the tip of the boot, is known mainly for the ancient center built on a rock, the beaches of the lower area known as "Marina", but also for the famous Tropea Onions, a red onion much sweeter than the normal white or yellow onion that does not make the eyes tear. Legend has it that Tropea was founded by Hercules who returning from Spain, see the Pillars of Hercules, stopped on the southern coast of Italy and as a testimony of that in the surrounding areas were found graves of the Magno-Greek period. But before going up to the center, you can not miss the emblem of the city, the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola di Tropea, a monument built on the rock facing the city, formerly inhabited by monks. The church has medieval origins and the statue of the Virgin Mary found here has arrived in the iconoclastic period and is said to have performed miracles and treated many sick people. It is also curious the legend of this statue that has begun to work miracles after having previously punished those who tried to mutilate it. Outside this church, you can visit the beautiful garden of exotic plants and admire the fantastic view of the sea, a place where nature explodes in all its beauty and grace. Escape plan 2 - movie review

Ciao carissimi lettori,
Ritorno con un altra recensione di un film e sto cominciando a pensare che ormai parlo dei film che vedo sul mio blog solo quando mi deludono. Eh, si, è facile capire che anche questo film mi abbia deluso. Per quale motivo? Beh, cominciamo dal cast, veramente deludente, ho avuto per tutto il tempo la sensazione che abbiano sbagliato ad assegnare i ruoli perché vediamo attori imponenti a recitare nella parte di personaggi inconsistenti e attori visti fino ad adesso in teen movies nella parte dei grandi eroi. In più, il numero alto di personaggi che alla fine fanno le stesse cose non aiuta molto. Ho avuto per tutto il tempo in mente il primo Escape plan e mi chiedevo prima di tutto perché non avessero scelto lo stesso regista, aveva fatto un buon lavoro nell'altro film mentre questo sequel diretto da Steven Miller era spesso approssimativo con dei passaggi secchi e repentini che non hanno suscitato per niente il mio interesse. Anche la storia secondo me è carente, la sceneggiatura sembrava scritta da una persona con un basso quoziente intellettivo, sempre annoiata. Appena sufficiente la recitazione di Huang Xiaoming, Titus Welliver e Sylvester Stallone che perlomeno hanno salvato questo film dal essere un disastro totale. Stavo guardando il cast e me ne sono resa conto che non ricordo nemmeno di aver visto certi attori e mi riferisco soprattutto alle ragazze che hanno avuto delle parti inconsistenti, pressoché fotocopiate. Io sono sempre stata una fan di Sylvester Stallone da bambina, ma devo ammettere che questo film rientra nella sua collezione di film da premio Razzie. Un po' c'era da aspettarselo solo per il semplice fatto che questo film è stato realizzato con quasi un terzo del budget del primo film, vi ricordate il detto, hai quello che paghi? Beh, questo è un buon esempio! 
Con una regia migliore, una sceneggiatura migliore, un cast non cosi folto ma con attori di un certo calibro, questo poteva essere un grande film.

Here I am again with another movie review and I start to think that lately I talk about movies on my blog only when they disapoint me. Well, it's easy to immagine that this film also has failed to fulfil my expectations. For what reason? Well, let's start with the cast, really disappointing, I had the feeling that they went wrong when assigning the roles because we see imposing actors playing the role of inconsistent characters and actors seen up until now olny in teen movies, in the part of the great heroes. In addition, the high number of characters that in the end do the same things does not help much. I had the first Escape plan in mind all the time and I wondered first of all why they did not choose the same director, he did a good job in the other movie while this sequel directed by Steven Miller was often approximate with short and sudden transitions that did not raise my interest at all. Even the story is lacking in my opinion, the script seemed to had been written by a person with a low IQ that was always bored. Hardly acceptable the performance of Huang Xiaoming, Titus Welliver and Sylvester Stallone who at least saved this movie from being a total disaster. I was looking at the cast and I realized that I do not even remember seeing some actors and I mean mostly the girls, who had some inconsistent, almost photocopied parts. I've always been a fan of Sylvester Stallone when I was a child, but I have to admit that this movie is part of his Razzie film collection. A little 'to be expected only for the simple fact that this film was made with almost a third of the budget of the first movie, you know the saying, you had what you've paid for? Well, this is a good example!
With a better direction, a better script, a cast not so big but with actors of a certain caliber this would had been a great movie.

Un po' di sole nell'acqua gelida di Françoise Sagan - recensione / Un peu de soleil dans l'eau froide by Françoise Sagan - book review

Ciao dragi cititori,

Astazi revin cu o recenzie de carte, in acest caz voi vorbi despre cartea “Putin soare in apa rece” a scriitoarei franceze Françoise Sagan. Mentionez ca aceasta este prima carte a acestei scriitoare pe care o citesc si ntentionez sa mai citesc altele intrucat mi-a placut naratiunea ei fluenta si stilul introspectiv care a caracterizat aceasta carte. Este o lectura usoara iar subiectul discutat este un fenomen al epocii noastre, depresia. Personajele sunt descrise in special prin intermediul reflectiilor si actiunilor fiecaruia dar si prin raportul cu celelalte personaje.  Un alt element care pe care l-am apreciat au fost dialogurile, sustinute, bine structurate, capabile sa redea contexte, sa construiasca momente si sa reflecte ideile si personalitatea interlocutorilor si marturisesc ca nu ma asteptam la nimic mai putin de la o dramaturga de nivelul doamnei Sagan. Personajele principale ale acestui  roman sunt: Gilles, un tanar ziarist ce trece printr-o criza depresiva si Nathalie o tanara cosmopolita, casatorita dar nesatisfacuta de viata pe car o ducea. Personaje secundare dar cu un rol important in creionarea situatiilor si a caracterului personajelor principale sunt si Jean, cel mai bun prieten al lui Gilles si adesea vocea ratiunii in acest roman,Héloise, iubita lui Gilles, o tanara fotomodel care prefera sa ignore depresia iubitului sau sperand ca aceasta sa se solutioneze de la sine, Pierre, fratele protectiv al lui Nathalie care prevede cumva finalul acestei relatii si in ultimul rand, François Silvener, sotul bogat al lui Nathalie, care nu apare in niciun dialog sau scena a acestui roman ca personaj activ ci este doar numit si descris de catre ceilalti. Marturisesc ca vorbind despre o carte centrata pe tema depresiei, m-am temut ca aveam sa ma plictisesc dar nu a fost nicidecum asa, pe alocuri am gasit descrierile golului interiorior si a sentimentului inutilitatii descrise de Gilles foarte realistice, asemanatoare celei intalnite de-a lungul practicii in spitalele psihiatrice din timpul studiilor mele universitare. Pe scurt povestea este urmatoarea: Gilles incercand sa gasesca un stimul care sa il scoata di situatia de gol interior merge in vizita la sora sa in Limousin iar acolo o intalneste in cadrul unui eveniment monden pe tanara Nathalie, o tanara cosmopolita de provincie, casatorita, care este fascinata de tenebrosul ziarist deprimat. Cei doi sunt atrasi unul de altul si incep sa aiba o relatie de dragoste care pare sa il scoata de Gilles din depresie. Aceasta relatie este vazuta initial cu ochi buni de catre toti ceilalti, cu exceptia lui Pierre pentru ca Gilles pare sa aiba beneficii serioase. Cand decid sa isi contruiasca o viata impreuna, Gilles o paraseste in mod las si cinic pe Héloise si accepta o promovare la jurnalul la care lucreaza. Nathalie isi paraseste si ea sotul si vine la Paris sa locuiasca impreuna cu Gilles. De aici povestea devine mai intensa intrucat Nathalie, o tanara foarte inteligenta place prietenilor lui Gilles care incearca sa o avertizeze in legatura cu trasaturile si apucaturile acestuia. Gilles, adesea gelos de conversatiile inteligente pe care Nathalie le are cu prietenii sai dar si dintr-un sentiment de inferioritate cauzat de cunoasterea faptului ca promovarea sa nu a fost una meritata, incepe sa o neglijeze si comite diverse actiuni imprudente. Finalul este unul neasteptat si totodata caracteristic romanelor care au ca tema centrala aceasta problema dar nu intentionez sa il dezvalui pentru ca sunt sigura ca v-ar placea sa il descoperiti singuri. Marturisesc ca mi-a placut aceasta carte datorita faptului ca trateaza subiecte actuale intr-un mod autentic, simplu si cursiv fara sa plictiseasca cu descrieri inutile si momente goale. Sunt sigura dealtfel ca si voua vi se va parea intrigant si realistic stilul narativ al lui Françoise Sagan, cred ca in parte acest lucru se datoreaza faptului ca ea a inglobat elemente din viata sa personala si din experientele sale. Sper ca recenzia mea v-a trezit interesul si va astept cu drag la urmatoarea postare.

Oggi torno con una recensione di un libro, nel qual caso parlerò del libro "Un po' di sole nell'acqua gelida" della scrittrice francese Françoise Sagan. V'informo che questo è il primo libro che leggo di questa scrittrice e intendo leggerne altri perché mi è piaciuta la sua narrativa fluente e lo stile introspettivo che ha caratterizzato questo libro. È facile da leggere e l'argomento trattato è un fenomeno della nostra epoca, la depressione. I personaggi sono descritti in particolare attraverso le riflessioni e le azioni di ciascuno, ma anche attraverso la relazione con gli altri personaggi. Altri elementi che ho apprezzato sono stati i dialoghi, sostenuti, ben strutturati, in grado di riprodurre i contesti, costruire momenti e riflettere le idee e la personalità degli interlocutori e devo confessare che non mi aspettavo niente di meno da un drammaturgo del livello della signora Sagan. I protagonisti di questo romanzo sono: Gilles, un giovane giornalista in crisi depressiva e Nathalie una giovane e cosmopolita, sposata ma insoddisfatta della sua vita. I personaggi secondari ma con un ruolo altrettanto importante nel disegnare la situazione e il carattere dei personaggi principali sono anche Jean, il migliore amico di Gilles e spesso la voce della ragione in questo romanzo, Eloisa, la ragazza di Gilles, una giovane modella che preferisce ignorare la depressione del suo amato aspettandosi che si risolva da sola, Pierre, il fratello protettivo di Nathalie che in qualche modo intravede la fine a questa relazione e, in definitiva, François Silvener marito ricco Nathalie che non appare in alcun dialogo o scena di questo romanzo come un personaggio attivo ma appena nominato e descritto dagli altri. Confesso che trattandosi di un libro incentrato sulla depressione, ho temuto che mi sarei annoiata ma non è stato affatto così, a volte ho trovato le descrizioni del vuoto interiore e il senso di inutilità descritti da Gilles molto realistici, simili a quelli riscontrati durante il praticantato negli ospedali psichiatrici nel corso dei miei studi universitari. In breve la storia è la seguente: Gilles, cercando di trovare uno stimolo che lo tirasse fuori dalla situazione di vuoto interiore, va a visitare la sorella in Limousin e lì incontra durante un evento sociale, la giovane Nathalie, una giovane cosmopolita di provincia, sposata, che si sente affascinata dal tenebroso e depresso giornalista. I due sono attratti l'uno dall'altro e cominciano ad avere un relazione d'amore che sembra tirare fuori dalla depressione Gilles. Perché Gilles sembra avere vantaggi significativi, questa relazione è inizialmente vista bene da tutti gli altri, ad eccezione di Pierre. . Quando decidono di costruire la loro vita insieme, Gilles abbandona in modo vile e cinico Heloise e accetta una promozione al giornale dove lavora. Nathalie, lascia anche lei il marito e viene a Parigi a vivere insieme a Gilles. Da qui la storia diventa più intensa, perché Nathalie, una giovane molto intelligente piace agli amici di Gilles che cercano di metterla in guardia riguardo le sue caratteristiche e abitudini. Gilles spesso geloso delle conversazioni intelligenti che Nathalie ha con i suoi amici ma anche da un senso d'inferiorità causato dalla consapevolezza che la sua promozione non è stata meritata, comincia a trascurarla e commettere varie azioni sconsiderate. Il finale è uno inaspettato e allo stesso tempo caratteristico per i romanzi che hanno come tema centrale questo problema, ma non intendo rivelarlo perché sono sicura che vi piacerebbe scoprirlo da soli. Confesso che questo libro mi è piaciuto perché tratta argomenti attuali in un modo autentico, semplice e scorrevole senza annoiare con descrizioni inutili e momenti vuoti. Sono sicura che anche voi troverete lo stile narrativo di Françoise Sagan intrigante e realistico, dovuto credo, in parte al fatto che abbia inserito elementi della sua vita personale e delle sue esperienze. Spero che la mia recensione abbia suscitato il vostro interesse e vi attendo al prossimo post.

Today I come back with a review of a book, in this case I will talk about the book "A bit of sun in the icy water" by the French writer Françoise Sagan. I inform you that this is the first book I read writen by this author and I intend to read others because I liked her flowing narrative and the introspective style that characterized this book. It is easy to read and the topic is a phenomenon of our age,the depression. The characters are described in particular through the reflections and actions of each one, but also through the relationship with the other characters. Other elements that I appreciated were the dialogues, supported, well structured, able to reproduce the contexts, build moments and reflect the ideas and personality of the interlocutors and I must confess that I did not expect anything less from a dramatist of the level of the lady Sagan. The protagonists of this novel are: Gilles, a young journalist in a depressive crisis and Nathalie a young cosmopolitan, married but dissatisfied with her life. The secondary characters but with an equally important role in drawing the situation and personalities of the main characters are also Jean, Gilles' best friend and often the voice of reason in this novel, Heloise, Gilles'  girlfriend, a young model who prefers to ignore the depression of his beloved expecting it to resolve itself, Pierre, the protective brother of Nathalie who somehow sees the end to this relationship and ultimately François Silvener Nathalie's rich husband who does not appear in any dialogue or scene of this novel as an active character but just named and described by others. I confess that since this is a book focused on depression, I feared that I would be bored but it was not like that at all, sometimes I found the descriptions of the emptiness and the sense of uselessness described by Gilles very realistic, similar to those encountered during the practice in psychiatric hospitals during my university studies. In short, the story is as follows: Gilles, trying to find an incentive to get him out of the situation of inner emptiness, goes to visit his sister in Limousin and meets there during a social event, the young Nathalie, a young provincial cosmopolitan, married, that gets fascinated by the gloomy and depressed journalist. The two are attracted to each other and begin to have a relation of love that seems to pull out of the depression Gilles. Because Gilles seems to have significant advantages, this relationship is initially seen well by everyone else, except Pierre. When they decide to build their life together, Gilles abandons in a cowardly and cynical way Heloise and accepts a promotion to the newspaper where he works. Nathalie, she too leaves her husband and comes to Paris to live with Gilles. Hence the story becomes more intense, because Nathalie, a very intelligent young girl is liked by Gilles' friends who try to warn her about his characteristics and habits. Gilles often jealous of the intelligent conversations that Nathalie has with his friends but also out of a sense of inferiority caused by the awareness that his promotion had not been deserved, begins to neglect her and commit various reckless actions. The ending is an unexpected and at the same time characteristic one for the novels whose central theme is this problem, but I do not intend to reveal it because I am sure you would like to find it out for yourself. I confess that I liked this book because it deals with current topics in an authentic, simple and smooth way without boring with useless descriptions and empty moments. I am sure that you too will find the narrative style of Françoise Sagan intriguing and realistic, due, I believe, in part to the fact that she has inserted elements of her personal life and her experiences.
