Solo cose belle mese di giugno / Only beautiful things month of June

IT: Ciao carissimi amici,

Oggi è un altro appuntamento della rubrica mensile “Solo Cose Belle” ideata e iniziata da Fiore di Collina. Oggi purtroppo sono anche arrivata alla conclusione che rischio di diventare ripetitiva perché sono comunque un essere abitudinario, mi piacciono sempre le stesse cose, faccio quasi sempre le stesse cose, compro le stesse cose e quindi rischio di annoiare il mio lettore. Ecco perché ho deciso di non parlarvi di tutte le cose belle di questo mese ma solo delle cose belle e inedite, che succedono per la prima volta o che non sono successe da parecchio tempo. Una delle cose che infatti non facevo da tanto per via dell’epidemia era uscire di casa e visitare luoghi bellissimi. Ecco quindi che questo mese fra una pioggia e l’altra siamo riusciti anche a fare due scappatelle sul lago d’Iseo e sul lago Como. Lago d’Iseo era tanto che non lo vedevamo e quindi per rinfrescarci la memoria abbiamo scelto di girarlo in macchina alternando anche delle belle passeggiate sulle promenade delle sue città ma per quanto riguarda il lago Como, avevamo in mente di goderci il lago e siamo andati dritti, dritti a Colico e distesi sull’erba ne abbiamo approfittato per leggere, parlare, goderci il paesaggio e sentirci in connessione con la natura.

Today is another appointment with the monthly column "Only Beautiful Things" created and started by Fiore di Collina. Unfortunately, today I have also come to the conclusion that I risk becoming repetitive because I am still a habitual being, I always like the same things, I almost always do the same things, I buy the same things and therefore I risk boring my readers. That's why I decided not to tell you about all the beautiful things of this month but only about the beautiful and new things that happen for the first time or that haven't happened for a long time. One of the things that I hadn't done for a long time because of the epidemic was to leave the house and visit beautiful places. So this month between rains we also managed to make two escapades on Lake Iseo and Lake Como. Lake Iseo was so long that we did not see it and therefore to refresh our memory we chose to see it driving and also alternating beautiful walks on the promenades of its cities but as regards Lake Como, we had in mind to enjoy the lake and we went straight, straight to Colico and lying on the grass we took the opportunity to read, speak, enjoy the landscape and feel connected to nature.

IT: Una cosa decisamente nuova e bella invece è la mia nuova macchina fotografica che abbiamo comprato questo mese e pagheremo a rate, la piccola, snella, leggera, precisa e velocissima Canon SX730HS. Non dico altro perché poi sembrerà un post sponsorizzato e non lo è (mi sarebbe piaciuto però), ma vi farò vedere alcune foto scattate usandola. Le foto sono poche perché è un acquisto molto recente e non abbiamo ancora avuto occasione di metterla alla prova ma come già mi conoscete, io amo fare foto e quindi non tarderò ad utilizzarla con furore. Non mi posso lamentare del mio cellulare che di foto ne ha fatto tante e le ha fatte anche molto bene però un tocco più professionale mi serviva :D Un'altra cosa inedita e decisamente bella è che questo mese mi sono fatta tagliare i capelli da un professionista. Potete vedere questo taglio nella foto in cui faccio vedere anche la mia nuova macchina fotografica però non sono stato ispirata a fotografarla subito con la piega fatta dalla parrucchiera e quindi la potete vedere solo giorni più tardi, dopo aver lavato i capelli e creato la mia ormai solita piega con il foulard. 

ENG: A decidedly new and beautiful thing is my new camera that we bought this month and will pay in installments, the small, slender, light, precise and very fast Canon SX730HS. I do not say more because then it will seem a sponsored post and it is not (I would have liked it though), but I will show you some photos taken using it. The photos are few because it is a very recent purchase and we have not yet had the opportunity to test it but as you already know me, I love taking photos and therefore I will not wait much in using it with fury. I can't complain about my cell phone, which took many photos and made them very well too, however, I needed a more professional touch: D Another unusual and decidedly beautiful thing is that this month I had my hair cut by a professional. You can see this cut in the photo where I also show my new camera, however I was not inspired to photograph it immediately with the hairstyle made by the hairdresser and therefore you can see it only days later, after washing my hair and creating my now usual style using a scarf.

Nostalgia d'estate / Summer nostalgia

Lago di Como ha un significato molto importante per me perché è il primo posto che ho visitato appena arrivata in Italia e uno dei pochi posti dove ci ritorno volentieri tutti gli anni. Il motivo credo lo possiate immaginare facilmente, è un posto estremamente bello, che unisce la bellezza dell'acqua a quella della terra, le foreste, la montagna, le città e le ville sontuose. Quando mi sento nostalgica cerco rifugio a uno dei posti che mi ha accolta calorosamente quando mi sentivo persa e straniera. Mi ricordo ancora la prima passeggiata a Como quasi 15 anni fa prima di venire a vivere in Italia, quando ero soltanto un turista, incollata alla macchina fotografica per non perdermi nessun riflesso del lago e curiosa di cogliere il senso delle parole di una lingua che non conoscevo ancora. Vedo ancora il viso sorridente e gentile della cameriera a cui chiesi in inglese un coca-cola con ghiaccio e un pezzo di pizza e la sua risposta, sempre in inglese, di accomodarmi, mi aveva rassicurato moltissimo. Non molto è cambiato da allora, certo, ci sono altre terrazze, altri bar e sicuramente altre persone che ci lavorano ma Como rimane sempre un brulicare di persone di tutte le età e nazionalità che vengono a godersi il panorama con un panino nello zaino, a scattare tante foto in molti con il telefono e pochi ancora con la macchina fotografica, a passeggiare, ad ammirare il sole che risplende nell'acqua e forse anche a visitare i monumenti lì intorno. Il monumento che attira più l’attenzione è il Tempio Voltiano dedicato allo scienziato Alessandro Volta, un tempio costruito nel 1927 al centenario della sua morte in perfetto stile neoclassico con delle colonne imponenti e sculture che ricordano le sculture romane o greche. Se vi doveste chiedere chi è Aleksander Volta, vi dico solo è uno dei fisici più importanti d’Europa che due secoli fa inventò la pila ed è dal suo nome che viene la parola “volt” che significa l’unità di misura della differenza di potenziale. Come potete vedere nelle foto, il monumento ha delle sculture all'entrata che raffigurano quello che contava di più per una persona come Alessandro Volta due cento anni fa, la fede e la scienza. Se non siete amanti delle passeggiate e neanche dei musei a Como potete sempre sorseggiare un fantastico cocktail oppure gustare un buonissimo piatto sulle terrazze e nei ristoranti lì vicino. Io mi sono goduta una bellissima giornata di sole a settembre ripensando e ricordando l’estate appena passata ed ecco il motivo del mio abbigliamento cosi estivo. Ho scelto una gonna lunga con uno spacco pronunciato che mi ha permesso di camminare tranquillamente e indugiare della leggera brezza e una canotta nera che mi ha permesso la massima flessibilità nei movimenti durante le passeggiate e mentre scattavo delle foto. Voi che cosa mi raccontate, riuscite ancora a godere del tempo caldo? Lake Como has a very important meaning for me because it is the first place I visited as soon as I arrived in Italy and one of the few places where I willingly return every year. The reason I believe you can easily imagine, is an extremely beautiful place, combining the beauty of the water with that of the earth, forests, mountains, cities and sumptuous villas. When I feel nostalgic, I seek refuge in one of the places that welcomed me warmly when I felt lost like a foreigner. I still remember the first walk in Como almost 15 years ago before coming to live in Italy, when I was just a tourist, glued to my camera in order not to miss any reflection of the lake and curious to grasp the sense of the words of a language that did not knew at the time. I still see the smiling and kind face of the waitress that I asked in English for a coca-cola with ice and a piece of pizza and her answer, always in English, to take a seat, had reassured me a lot. Not much has changed since then, of course, there are other terraces, other bars and certainly other people who work there but Como always remains a swarm of people of all ages and nationalities who come to enjoy the view with a sandwich in the backpack, to take lots of photos in many usings phones now and only a few still with the camera, to walk, to admire the sun that shines in the water and maybe even visit the monuments around there. The monument that attracts the most attention is the Voltiano Temple dedicated to the scientist Allesandro Volta, a temple built in 1927 to the centenary of his death in perfect neoclassical style with impressive columns and sculptures reminiscent of Roman or greek sculptures. If you wonder who Aleksander Volta is, I will only tell you that he is one of the most important physicists in Europe who invented the battery two centuries ago, and from his name comes the word "volt"  that designates the unit of measurement of the difference of potential. As you can see in the photos, at the entrance, the monument has sculptures that depict what counted most for a person like Alessandro Volta two hundred years ago, faith and science. If you are not fond of walking or even museums in Como you can always sip a fantastic cocktail or enjoy a delicious dish on the terraces and in the restaurants nearby. I enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in September thinking back and remembering the summer just passed and here is the reason for me still wearing such summer clothing. I chose a long skirt with a pronounced slit that allowed me to walk calmly and indulge in the light breeze and a black top that allowed me maximum flexibility in my movements when walking and taking pictures. Scurta calatorie la Como si Brunate / Breve viaggio a Como e Brunate / Short trip to Como and Brunate

Acum cateva saptamani, dupa ce ne-am intors din vacanta in Tenerife am vorbit cu o prietena sa ne vedem la Como si sa ne bucuram de o plimbare cat inca mai era vreme buna. De la Como am urcat in micul orasel Brunate unde am putut savura un pranz maiestuos si am vizitat farul Voltiano de unde am avut o priveliste uimitoare asupra lacului Como. Pentru cei interesati se poate ajunge la Brunate cu funicularul dar pana la far mai aveti de mers, pardon de urcat, destul, pe jos. Nu stiu cat costa funicularul pentru ca noi am mers cu masina. Una din marile probleme la Brunate este lipsa parcarilor, din fericire restaurantul unde am mancat avea o ampla parcare pe camp. De la restaurante pana la far nu aveti prea mult de urcat, va veti descurca linistiti daca veti odihni un pic dupa ce ati mancat. Am incheiat ziua intorcandu-ne la Como si facand doi pasi prin centru si pe langa lac, va las sa admirati frumusetile ce le-am vazut.

 ITALIANO

Qualche settimana fa, dopo che siamo tornati dalle vacanze a Tenerife ho parlato con una mia amica per vederci a Como e goderci una piccola passeggiata finché il tempo era ancora bello. Da Como siamo saliti alla piccola città di Brunate dove abbiamo potuto gustare un pranzo fantastico e visitato il faro Voltiano che offre una splendida vista sul lago di Como. Agli interessati dico che è possibile arrivare a Brunate anche con il funicolare però bisogna camminare, scusate salire tanto a piedi fino al faro. Non ho idea di quanto costa il funicolare perché noi siamo andati in macchina. Uno dei grossi problemi a Brunate è la mancanza di parcheggi, fortunatamente il ristorante dove abbiamo pranzato ha un ampio parcheggio sul campo. Dalla zona dei ristoranti fino al faro non c’è molto da salire, ce la possiate fare a condizione che riposate dopo aver mangiato. Abbiamo concluso la giornata tornando a Como e percorrendo il centro e il lungo lago però adesso vi lascio ammirare le bellezze che abbiamo visto lì.

A few weeks ago, after returning from vacation in Tenerife I spoke with my friend to see each other in Como and enjoy a little walk until the weather was still nice. From Como we went to the small town of Brunate where we could enjoy a fantastic lunch and visited the Volta lighthouse that offers a beautiful view of Lake Como. To those concerned I say that you can also get to Brunate with the cable car but then you have to walk, sorry ascend up to the lighthouse. I have no idea how much the cable car costs because we went with the car. One of the big problems in Brunate is the lack of parking places, fortunately the restaurant where we had lunch has a large parking lot on the field. From the restaurant area to the lighthouse there's plenty to go up, you can do it on condition that you get some rest after eating. We ended the day back to Como and walking down the center and along the lake, however,I will let you now admire the beauties that we saw there.

Castelul Vezio / Castello di Vezio / Vezio Castle

Catelul Vezio este o fortificatie medievala construita in al XII-lea secol la Perledo, Varenna, pe malul lacului Como destinat a fi un avampost militar. De-a lungul timpului s-au decoperit morminte din epoca fierului, coifuri, armatura medievala si fosile pe care le puteti adrmira inauntrul turnului. Biletul de intrare costa doar 4 euro si pentru aceasta suma puteti admira splendidele gradini, ruinele castelului, soimii ce linistiti se odihnesc in gradina, turnul (ar fi pacat sa nu urcati pana sus in varf) si o panorama care iti taie respiratia asupra lacului Como. De la parcarea libera sau cea cu plata mai aveti de mers pe jos aproximativ 700 de metri, dar terenul nu este cel mai fericit si trebuie sa urcati asa ca daca aveti probleme cardiace nu va recomand sa vizitati acest castel. Va las sa admirati frumusetea acestui castel in galeria de fotografii.

Il castello di Vezio è una fortificazione medioevale costruita nel XII secolo a Perledo, Varenna sulla riva del lago Como essendo destinato a servire come avamposto militare. Con il passare del tempo sono state rinvenute delle tombe dall'età del ferro, elmi, armatura medioevale e fossili che potete ammirare al'interno della torre. Il biglietto costa solo 4 euro e per questa somma potete ammirare i splendidi giardini, le rovine del castello, i rapaci che riposano tranquilli nel giardino, la torre (sarebbe un grande peccato non salire fino in cima) e la panorama mozzafiato con il lago di Como ai vostri piedi. Dal parcheggio libero, o quello a pagamento dovrete camminare all'incirca 700 metri in salita ed il terreno non è uno dei migliori quindi se avete problemi cardiaci forse è meglio non andare a visitarlo.
