Oggi ritorno con la recensione di un altro romanzo della scrittrice italiana Alice Basso, il quarto romanzo della saga poliziesca che ha come personaggio principale la dattilografa Anita Bo. Il titolo di questo romanzo è “Le Aquile della Notte” è l’avventura della signorina Bo e del suo capo, l’affascinante giornalista e scrittore Sebastiano Satta Ascona continua nel mese di ottobre e si avvicina sempre di più a quella che dovrebbe essere la fine della loro collaborazione.

Lo scenario di questo romanzo si sposta, Torino compare brevemente solo all’inizio e alla fine del romanzo in quanto i nostri personaggi sono in un certo modo “costretti” dal signor Sauro Bonatti, il futuro suocero di Sebastiano, ad abbandonare Torino per assistere alla vendemmia nella proprietà di Lupo Bonatti, fratello dell’appena menzionato capo del fascio. Lo scopo di questa trasferta è che Sebastiano si avvicini di più alla famiglia Bonatti, prendendo parte ad eventi che coinvolgano Mavi Bonatti, la fidanzata di Sebastiano, i suoi genitori e tutta la famiglia allargata, in modo che lui inizi a sentirsi parte della famiglia. Visto che Sebastiano ha un lavoro abbastanza impegnativo, Sauro Bonatti e Monné, il redattore di Saturnalia, concordano in una settimana di ferie nelle Langhe, dove metà giornata sarà dedicata alla vendemmia e l’altra metà alla traduzione e scrittura di articoli per Saturnalia. Siccome un giornalista a quei tempi non poteva mandare avanti da solo la rivista senza l’aiuto di una dattilografa, anche Anita viene coinvolta in questa “vacanza di lavoro”. Anita coglie subito la possibilità di andarci in modo da potersi prendere una pausa dalle preparazioni per l’imminente matrimonio con Corrado e dalla sua assillante madre.

Questo cambiamento porterà grandi cambiamenti nel rapporto fra i nostri personaggi principali ma non voglio aggiungere altro anche se, sicuramente capirete di quali cambiamenti si tratta una volta che arriverete alla descrizione della villa Fulva e della disposizione delle stanze degli invitati. Restando nella sfera nel lato rosa di questo romanzo, aggiungo anche che ci saranno nuovi pretendenti per l’affetto di Anita, si osserveranno nuove dinamiche fra gli altri personaggi, sia fra i loro amici più cari, sia fra i loro promessi sposi.

Per quanto riguarda l’aspetto giallo di questo romanzo, abbiamo un nuovo omicidio, abbiamo diversi sospetti e tantissime linee di investigazione da seguire. Nella nuova storia, i nostri personaggi incontreranno gruppi che si ribellano alla dittatura fascista e si faranno nuovi amici con cui condividere le passioni censurate dal regime. Non vorrei abbandonare questo argomento senza parlare dei ragionamenti, le considerazioni e le intuizioni che Alice Basso condivide attraverso i suoi personaggi. In questo senso trovo notevole la correlazione fra il crimine e la fragilità umana ed il modo in cui viene ignorata dal fascismo, la questione razzismo che sotto il fascismo diventa una “bonifica delle stirpi”, i tentacoli della censura fascista che coprono sempre più settori generando come contrappeso anche più modi di ribellione ed il cambiamento etico che affliggerà ogni individuo alla ricerca della giustizia e che finirà per accontentarsi del male minore o di lasciare impuniti i colpevoli purché vengano salvati degli innocenti. Alice Basso fa un lavoro eccelso, non solo nella ricerca del materiale che possa illustrare ed esemplificare i concetti espressi ma anche nel modo in cui usa i suoi personaggi per descrivere le situazioni. Visto che a questo punto parliamo del suo talento come scrittrice, vorrei menzionare anche la metafora vino e sangue che l’autrice usa per descrivere la sete di violenza e la fame di morte che alleggiano nelle menti e negli animi di diversi personaggi.

La narrazione è sempre molto fluida, i colpi di scena meglio preparati e celati rispetto al romanzo precedente il che ha reso questo romanzo molto più godibile ed apprezzabile. Detto ciò, consiglio questo romanzo a tutti coloro che cercano un buon thriller ed una più avvincente storia d’amore.

Today I return with a review of another novel by Italian author Alice Basso, the fourth in the detective series featuring typist Anita Bo. Since Sebastiano has a fairly demanding job, Sauro Bonatti and Monné, the editor of Saturnalia, agree to a week's vacation in the Langhe, where half the day will be dedicated to the grape harvest and the other half to translating and writing articles for Saturnalia. Since a journalist at that time couldn't run the magazine alone without the help of a typist, Anita also becomes involved in this "working vacation." Anita immediately seizes the opportunity to go so she can take a break from preparing for her upcoming wedding to Corrado and from her nagging mother.

This change will bring major changes to the relationships between our main characters, but I don't want to say anything else, although you'll surely understand just how much change it involves once you get to the description of Villa Fulva and the layout of the guest rooms. Staying within the realm of the romance of this novel, I'll also add that there will be new suitors for Anita's affection, and new dynamics will emerge between the other characters, both their closest friends and their engaged spouses.

As for the detective story of this novel, we have a new murder, several suspects, and countless lines of investigation to pursue. In the new story, our characters will encounter groups rebelling against the fascist dictatorship and make new friends with whom they will share the passions censored by the regime. I wouldn't want to leave this topic without discussing the reasoning, considerations, and insights Alice Basso shares through her characters. In this sense, I find the correlation between crime and human frailty, and the way it is ignored by fascism, the issue of racism, which under fascism becomes a "cleansing of lineages," the tentacles of fascist censorship that increasingly cover more sectors, generating as a counterweight even more forms of rebellion, and the ethical shift that will afflict every individual seeking justice and who will end up settling for the lesser evil or leaving the guilty unpunished as long as innocents are saved, remarkable. Alice Basso does an excellent job, not only in finding material that can illustrate and exemplify the concepts expressed, but also in the way she uses her characters to describe situations. Since we're now discussing her talent as a writer, I'd also like to mention the metaphor of "blood and wine" that the author uses to describe the thirst for violence and hunger for death that linger in the minds and souls of several characters.

The narrative is consistently fluid, and the twists are better prepared and hidden than in the previous novel, which made this novel much more enjoyable and appreciable. That being said, I recommend this novel to anyone looking for a good thriller and a more compelling love story.

It is the Hair Muscle Essence Oil CER-100 and as you may guess already from the denomination, it is a hair oil. What is the difference between this product and the hair essence I previously reviewed you might ask? Well, while the essence was rich in vegetal collagen (hydrolyzed proteins) and had some precious essential oils in its formula, this product does not contain collagen but is rich in many more nutritious oils. I don’t need to remind you that even if I was gifted this product, my review is an objective one, relatable to my personal experience while using this product.

Information from the producer: Elizavecca Cer-100 Hair Muscle Essence Oil for damaged hair contains several natural conditioning oils such as macadamia oil rich in oleic and palmitoleic acids, argan oil containing high doses of vitamin E, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, evening primrose oil and annatto seed oil with high hydrating, antioxidant and regenerating properties. Its special formula hydrates hair and gives it shine, keeping it soft, healthy and smooth while preventing static and hair breakage. It has a light composition, absorbs easily, is non-greasy and does not weigh down and the result is soft, healthy and smooth hair.

Personal evaluation: The first thing I noticed about this product is its pleasant floral fragrance and the light consistency. I take something like 2 or 3 drops, I massage them on the palms of my hands and run my fingers over the tips and ends of the lengths. I blow dried my hair and styled it straight with the help of a hairbrush. Didn’t get to do it yet and probably will never style it with a hair straightener because it overcomes my physical possibilities at the moment but given my past experience when using hair straighteners, the hair becomes even more shining in such situations. Anyways, just using a circular hairbrush to blow dry my hair after applying this oil, the hair becomes soft, sleek, silky and has a natural and intense shine. It doesn't weigh down hair or make it greasy when used as directed. Using this oil has increased hydration, shine, softness, and manageability, fulfilling all my expectations for this type of product. I am aware that it also contains silicones and mineral oils but most of these oils do and the results and the very good quality price ratio compensate that aspect.

PROS: contains precious oils, easy to store and apply, travel friendly, very good value for the money, great results as regards combability and shine of the hair, lovely fragrance

CONS: also contains silicones and mineral oils

Conclusion: I recommend this oil to persons that look for a product that facilitates combing and smooth hair styling while moisturizing, nourishing and ensuring hair has a healthy shine.

Si tratta di un altro prodotto per la cura dei capelli e devo dire fin dall'inizio che sono molto soddisfatta ed entusiasta di questo prodotto. Si tratta dell'Hair Muscle Essence Oil CER-100 e, come potrete già intuire dalla denominazione, è un olio per capelli. Qual è la differenza tra questo prodotto e l'essenza per capelli che ho recensito in precedenza, potreste chiedervi? Beh, mentre l'essenza era ricca di collagene vegetale (proteine ​​idrolizzate) e conteneva alcuni preziosi oli essenziali nella sua formula, questo prodotto non contiene collagene ma è ricco di molti altri oli nutrienti. Comunque, semplicemente usando una spazzola circolare per asciugarmi i capelli dopo aver applicato questo olio, i capelli diventano morbidi, lisci, setosi e hanno una lucentezza naturale e intensa. Non appesantisce i capelli né li rende unti se usato come indicato. L'uso di questo olio ha aumentato l'idratazione, la lucentezza, la morbidezza e la pettinabilità, soddisfacendo tutte le mie aspettative per questo tipo di prodotto. I have tested this product thoroughly before starting reviewing it because I like to be transparent and sincere in my reviews so that you, my readers, have a complete image of the product. As always, it is a personal evaluation, but I will insist on the characteristics that are useful to everyone. The product I am reviewing now is the Collagen Coating Hair A+ Muscle Essence CER-100.

Personal Evaluation: The very first thig I noticed when using this product is that is light like a feather. It spreads easily and it has a fantastic floral fragrance that reminds me of jasmine. I used only small amounts of product because it is very nutritious and too much product may weigh it down. I used it om damped hair but if you prefer you can use it on dry hair, it maintains its nourishing properties but you lose its thermal protection property. After applying it the hair becomes soft, smooth, silky and after drying it acquires a shine that is noticeable even when there is no sun or direct light to highlight it. Once I used too much product and after three days, I had to wash my hair because it was looking greasy but when I use 3 drops of this essence on my length of hair the result was perfect and it lasted 5 days until my next shampooing. I have a normal hair type, for dry and same length hair probably one more drop would be necessary. I also apply this essence only on my mid lengths and hair tips, never apply it on the hair roots or scalp. I do like this essence very much even if it contains mineral oils and silicones and considering that the confection contains 150 ml that will probably last me for two years at least, I consider it also has a good value for the money.

PROS: contains vegetal collagen, keratin and other precious plant extracts, easy to apply, travel friendly, very pleasant fragrance, great results in matters of hair softness and radiance

CONS: contains silicones and mineral oils too

Conclusion: This hair essence although is perfect for damaged hair and split ends it can also be used for normal hair that might need some help in untangling hair that tangles easily or needs a product that gives brightness and liveliness to an otherwise dull or fragile hair.

Valutazione personale: La prima cosa che ho notato usando questo prodotto è che è leggero come una piuma. Si stende facilmente e ha una fantastica fragranza floreale che mi ricorda il gelsomino. Ho usato solo piccole quantità di prodotto perché è molto nutriente e troppo prodotto potrebbe appesantirlo. L'ho usato sui capelli tamponati ma se preferite potete usarlo sui capelli asciutti, mantiene le sue proprietà nutrienti ma perde la sua proprietà di protezione termica. Dopo l'applicazione i capelli diventano morbidi, lisci, setosi e dopo l'asciugatura acquisiscono una lucentezza che si nota anche quando non c'è sole o luce diretta a metterli in risalto. Una volta ho usato troppo prodotto e dopo tre giorni ho dovuto lavare i capelli perché sembravano unti, ma quando ho usato 3 gocce di questa essenza sulle mie lunghezze, il risultato è stato perfetto ed è durato 5 giorni fino al mio prossimo shampoo. Ho un tipo di capelli normale, per capelli secchi e della stessa lunghezza probabilmente basterebbe un'altra goccia. Inoltre, applico questa essenza solo sulle lunghezze e sulle punte, non la applico mai sulle radici o sul cuoio capelluto. Mi piace molto questa essenza, anche se contiene oli minerali e siliconi, e considerando che la confezione contiene 150 ml che probabilmente mi dureranno almeno due anni, ritengo che abbia anche un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

I am here to review another product sent by the South Korean brand Elizavecca. The product I will review now is another skin care product because as you know, the best skin care products come from this country. This time I will review the Witch Piggy Hell-Pore marine collagen ample, a serum that improves skin moisture without any feeling of stickness. I will continue with my usual product review but remember that even if this product was furnished to me for testing, I will observe all its effects and talk about them in complete honesty.

Personal evaluation: First of all, I was intrigued by its rose color and once I applied it and massaged it for a few seconds I was fascinated with the delicious honey scent. The best part was how my skin felt after applying it, it was smooth, soft like an expensive piece of velvet and at the same time it felt firm and toned. It also gained a healthy glow. It is not greasy and it doesn’t stick at all. Overall, this is one of the best face serums I've ever used, and I highly recommend it. In the future, I plan to purchase this serum with one of the options listed above because I think it's excellent value for the money. I have been using it for only a few weeks and therefore can not testify yet regarding its anti wrinkle properties but giving the great results in terms of smoothing, firming and skin elasticity increasing properties, I am sure that it will prevent and at least diminish the aspect of wrinkles.

PROS: good and practical packaging, easy to use and apply, travel friendly, very good ingredient list, great results in terms of moisturizing, smoothing and skin elasticity increase

Conclusions: I honestly recommend this product to every person that desires a more firm and youthful looking skin with less effort and without spending a great sum of money.

Valutazione personale: Innanzitutto, sono rimasta incuriosita dal suo colore rosa e, una volta applicato e massaggiato per qualche secondo, sono rimasta incantata dal delizioso profumo di miele. La cosa migliore è stata la sensazione che ho avuto sulla mia pelle dopo l'applicazione: era liscia, morbida come un prezioso pezzo di velluto e allo stesso tempo soda e tonica. Ha anche acquisito un colorito sano. Non unge e non appiccica affatto. Complessivamente, questo è uno dei migliori sieri viso che io abbia mai usato e lo consiglio vivamente. In futuro, intendo comprare questo siero con una delle modalità disponibili elencante sopra perché ritengo che ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo uso solo da poche settimane e quindi non posso ancora esprimere giudizi sulle sue proprietà antirughe, ma visti gli ottimi risultati in termini di levigatezza, rassodamento e aumento dell'elasticità della pelle, sono sicura che preverrà e almeno ridurrà l'aspetto delle rughe.

PRO: confezione bella e pratica, facile da usare e applicare, adatto ai viaggi, ottima lista di ingredienti, eccellenti risultati in termini di idratazione, levigatezza e aumento dell'elasticità della pelle.

CONTRO: nessuno

Conclusioni: consiglio sinceramente questo prodotto a chiunque desideri una pelle più tonica e dall'aspetto più giovane con poco sforzo e senza spendere una cifra elevata.

Here I am back on my Elizavecca haul reviews. The latest order arrived sooner than the others and therefore I was even happier to test and honestly review all these goodies. As you might remember, the South Korean brand Elizavecca sends me their new products in order to test and review them. There is no remuneration, I don’t receive anything for my reviews, all I am asked to do when I receive the products is to try them thoroughly and be honest in my review and posts. I am not asked to do positive or five star reviews, actually you are quite familiar with all the segnalations I made on certain properties or usages for the products I test and the fact that after so many reviews where I speak my mind and don’t hide things, this brand still uses me as a tester is because they are looking for honesty first of all. This time I received for testing two skin care and two hair care review and today I will review the first skin care product. This product is a mask pack, a first experience for me with this kind of masks. The product is Elizavecca Soda Aqua Modeling Pack, and the line is the Modeling Pack. The masks from this line need to be modeled on the spot and have as a result a rubber aspect and besides the Soda Acqua mask pack, this line come with 5 more types. Therefore the Elizavecca Modeling Pack can be found in the following versions: Berry Collagen, Lemon Vitamin, Icy Cool Teatree, Calm Herb Centella, Soda Aqua and Dark Crush Charcoal.

Producer information: the Soda Aqua Modeling Pack Mask is a clay mask that once hardened it takes the aspect of a rubber mask with calming properties. Contains precious ingredients like licorice root extract, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, Kombu Japanese Seaweed extract, Japanese Yam Ma root extract, David Elm root extract, Violet flower extract with soothing, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-wrinkle, anti-allergic, moisturizing properties that promote skin regeneration and elasticity for a healthier, more radiant complexion. It also contains Bifidobacterium longum, a prebiotic that maintains healthy skin microflora, increasing skin elasticity, improving the skin barrier.

Skin type: all skin types

Packaging: plastic jar covered with a tight sealed lid containing 28g / 0.98 oz, The jar comes with a spatula and a container to measure water quantity.

Texture: light blue powder that after adding water becomes a guey clay

Fragrance: fresh menthol

How to use: after face cleansing and skin toning, aprox 40ml of water or 4 measuring cups must be added to the powder-containing pack bowl. Use then a spatula to mix the powder and water quickly and apply evenly on the skin. The clay may harden, so apply it as soon as possible. After about 10 to 15 minutes, when the pack hardens, it should be removed and then wipe lightly with a pad any remaining fragments. Afterwards proceed with regular skin care routine.

Personal Evaluation: I will start with the application, because I have to make some clarifications about that. The quantity exceeded my needs, if I have known that, I should have used half the amount and kept the other half for another application and in that case use only half of the amount of water. Unfortunately, the rest of the product, which I couldn't use because it didn't fit anymore, went to waste, and I'm really sorry because the result was excellent. I am making this assertion in case someone might find it useful. As for the clay, its texture is pleasant, it has a minty fragrance and leaves a cooling and invigorating sensation. Once removed the skin looks radiant, soft, velvety, smooth and levigated. Considered the low cost and its efficiency, I retain it has a great price / quality ratio and will do my best to try to purchase other similar products. I have never used this kind of mask pack before and I am not quick with my hands due to my health issues but once in a while I retain I could allow myself such a special pampering experience. I hope this post will be useful to all those interested in modeling mask benefits and reviews of this kind of face masks for skin soothing modeling masks, hyaluronic acid modeling pack and in this specific case, the benefits of using Soda Aqua Modeling Pack. For what concerns me and considering the segnalation I made at the begging of this evaluation, this Rubber Mask is for now, the Best Modeling Mask in 2025.

PROS: great ingredient list, great results as smoothing, levigating, moisturizing, illuminating, skin became firmer; fantastic cooling sensation during the application, it has all it is required for modeling and application

CONS: not a real con but in my case the obtained clay was too much and wasn’t able to apply all of it before it became solid rubber.

Conclusion: I recommend this product to persons looking for an innovative mask pack that has an excellent ingredient list and are not afraid of new skin care techniques. This modeling Clay mask is perfect for skin moisturizing and smoothing.

Dopo circa 10-15 minuti, quando la pasta si è indurita, rimuoverla e tamponare delicatamente con un dischetto per rimuovere eventuali resti. Successivamente, procedere con la normale routine di cura della pelle.

Valutazione personale: Inizierò con l'applicazione, perché devo fare alcune precisazioni al riguardo. La quantità superava le mie esigenze, se lo avessi saputo, avrei dovuto usarne metà e conservare l'altra metà per un'altra applicazione, e in quel caso usare solo metà della quantità d'acqua. Purtroppo, il resto del prodotto, che non ho potuto usare perché non ci stava più, è andato sprecato, e mi dispiace molto perché il risultato è stato ottimo. Faccio questa affermazione nel caso in cui qualcuno possa trovarla utile. Per quanto riguarda questa maschera all'argilla, la sua consistenza è piacevole, ha una fragranza alla menta e lascia una sensazione rinfrescante e rinvigorente. Una volta rimossa, la pelle appare più morbida, vellutata, liscia e levigata. Considerato il costo contenuto e la sua efficacia, ritengo che abbia un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e farò del mio meglio per acquistare altri prodotti simili. Non ho mai usato questo tipo di maschera prima e non sono molto pratica con le mani a causa dei miei problemi di salute, ma ogni tanto penso di potermi concedere un'esperienza di coccole così speciale. Spero che questo post sia utile a tutti coloro che sono interessati ai benefici delle maschere modellanti e alle recensioni di questo tipo di maschere viso per lenire la pelle, impacchi modellanti all'acido ialuronico e, in questo caso specifico, ai benefici dell'utilizzo di Soda Aqua Modeling Pack. Per quanto mi riguarda e considerando la segnalazione che ho fatto all'inizio di questa recensione, questa maschera in argilla è per il momento la migliore maschera modellante del 2025.

PRO: ottima lista di ingredienti, ottimi risultati: levigante, idratante, illuminante, pelle più tonica; fantastica sensazione di freschezza durante l'applicazione, la confezione contiene tutto il necessario per modellare e applicare il prodotto.

CONTRO: non un vero svantaggio, ma nel mio caso l'argilla ottenuta era troppa e non sono riuscita ad applicarla tutta prima che diventasse gomma solida.

Conclusione: consiglio questo prodotto a chi cerca una maschera innovativa con un'eccellente lista di ingredienti e non ha paura di provare nuove tecniche di cura della pelle. Questa maschera all'argilla modellante è perfetta per idratare e levigare la pelle.
