Carissimi amici e lettori,
IT: è arrivato il momento di condividere con voi le cose belle di questo mese. Agosto è stato un mese abbastanza problematico per me, ma, nonostante ciò, mi sono impegnata a cercare qualcosa da condividere con voi, per quanto banale o semplice esso fosse.
ENG: the time has come to share with you the beautiful things of this month. August was a pretty problematic month for me, but despite that, I made a point of looking for something to share with you, no matter how trivial or simple it was.
IT: Prima di tutto vorrei parlarvi della persona che ha reso sopportabile per me, un mese altrimenti molto difficile. Questa persona è mio marito, che mi è stato vicino quando stavo male, mi ha aiutato quando da sola non ce la facevo e mi ha coccolata con piccoli gesti rendendo tutto più facile e piacevole. Una di queste piccole cose inaspettate è stata la mattinata di un fine settimana quando mi ha sorpreso preparando una colazione sfiziosa. Certo, la torta è comprata (non so fare le torte nemmeno io, quindi non posso di certo pretendere che lui lo sappia) e il cappuccino lo ha fatto usando la macchinetta per il caffè, ma avere accanto una persona che si alza prima di te, il sabato mattina presto per andare a comprare la torta, preparare il cappuccio e darti il buongiorno in modo romantico.
ENG: First of all I would like to tell you about the person who made an otherwise very difficult month, bearable for me. This person is my husband, who was close to me when I was sick, helped me when I couldn't do it alone and pampered me with small gestures making everything easier and more pleasant. One of these unexpected little things was a weekend morning when he surprised me by preparing a delicious breakfast. Sure, the cake was purchased (I don't know how to make cakes either, so I certainly can't expect him to know) and he made the cappuccino using the coffè machine, but having a person next to you who gets up before you, on Saturday early morning to go buy a cake, prepare the cappuccino and say good morning in a romantic way.
IT: Altre cose belle di cui vorrei parlarvi riguardano sempre l'aspetto mangiareccio della vita. Condivido con voi un semplice pranzo in una giornata di lavoro e un dolce speciale, provato per la prima volta. Un pranzo con pochi ma gustosi piatti della cucina giapponese, giusto per restare leggeri in una giornata altrimenti impegnativa mentre il dolce provato per curiosità in un altra occasione, mi ha fatto capire che ci sarà sempre un piatto delizioso per i momenti tetri. Il tiramisù al cioccolato bianco e pistacchio è stata una vera goduria e mi ha fatto capire che provare cose nuove porta sempre a delle scoperte interessanti. E voi, cosa mi raccontate di bello? Quali sono le cose belle per voi queste mese?
ENG: Other beautiful things I would like to tell you about also concern the foody aspect of life. I share with you a simple lunch on a working day and a special dessert, tried for the first time. A lunch with a few but tasty dishes of Japanese cuisine, just to stay light on an otherwise busy day while the dessert tried out of curiosity on another occasion, made me understand that there will always be a delicious dish for gloomy moments. The white chocolate and pistachio tiramisu was a real pleasure and made me realize that trying new things always leads to interesting discoveries. What nice things can you tell me?
