Solo cose belle - aprile 2021 / Only beautiful things - April 2021

Nel post di oggi vorrei condividere con voi alcune foto del piccolo viaggio fatto il 27 aprile. Era una settimana piovosa in tutta Italia ma essendo in ferie, e per festeggiare la tanto attesa zona gialla, ci siamo detti lo stesso: "facciamo una piccola scappatina a Livigno, mal che vada ci giriamo i negozi" in assenza di bel tempo. E invece siamo stati accolti da un sole bellissimo e da paesaggi mozzafiato. Condivido qui con voi alcune foto.

Hello dear readers,

In today's post I would like to share with you some photos of the little journey made on April 27th. It was a rainy week all over Italy but being on vacation and in order to celebrate the long awaited yellow zone, we told ourselves the same: "let's take a little trip to Livigno, in any case we could go around the shops" in the absence of good weather. Instead we were greeted by a beautiful sun and breathtaking landscapes. I share some photos with you.

Sempre alla fine di questo mese ho celebrato il mio onomastico, per la festa dei fiori e ho scoperto praticamente dopo 37 anni di vita, che ho anch'io il nome di un vero fiore. Mi era sempre stato detto che il mio nome Florentina deriva dalla parola fiore, in rumeno "floare" ma invece quest'anno ho scoperto che esiste un fiore, l'iris bianco che si chiama IRIS FLORENTINA. Come potete vedere dalle foto ho ricevuto in regalo libri, fiori, una bella torta e pensierini vari ma quello che vorrei veramente condividere con voi è il biglietto di auguri con cui mio marito fece accompagnare il suo regalo perché è il più bel biglietto di auguri che ho mai ricevuto.

Also at the end of this month I celebrated my name day, for the flower festivity and I discovered practically after 37 years of life, that I actually have the name of a real flower. I had always been told that my name Florentina derives from the word flower, in Romanian "floare" but instead this year I discovered that there is a flower, the white iris which is called IRIS FLORENTINA. As you can see from the photos I received as a gift books, flowers, a beautiful cake and various thoughts but what I would really like to share with you is the greeting card with which my husband had accompanied his gift because it is the most beautiful greeting card that I have ever received.
