ENGLISH
Hello dear readers,
Today I come back to you with a new post on "Only beautiful things". As things got even worse this month than in previous months and the map of the country is a rainbow in warm colors, I wondered for a long time what the beautiful things could be this month. The evolution of the epidemiological situation has not distanced us only because of the restrictions but has raised barriers and profoundly limited our solidarity and humanity. In recent days I have had to hear things like "They can't lock me inside the house to save the lives of few people", "let's open everything", "let's leave it to natural selection" and many other similar phrases professed by people who have no health problems and that are not among the categories most at risk. I would just like to ask these people what they would think and what would they say if the people at risk were them or their loved ones and around them have only people who profess natural selection?
I only talked about this to make you understand why it is so difficult for me to find beautiful things to talk about this month. I can only leave the house to go to work, go to the pharmacy, to the doctor or to the hospital. I can still get everything I need and want directly to my home. That is why despite all the restrictions, I have decided to take advantage as much as possible of all this free time I have now and read. Books have been my best friends since I was a child, as a schoolgirl I studied to be rewarded and receive books as a gift, then when I grew up I went to all libraries to borrow books and spent the money I earned working or receiving in gift to buy these precious objects that contain important thoughts and concepts within their pages. That's why as a beautiful thing this month I placed a larger order than usual on IBS, my favorite site when it comes to books. Surely you have noticed among my purchases two works written by Nobel Prize winners, "Frog" by Mo Yan and "Chernobyl Prayer" by Svetlana Aleksievic but all the other books have excellent reviews.
Were you able to find some nice things this month? Which ones are they?
