Loverbeauty and body positivity

Today I would like to talk about looking good, about how we perceive our body shape and how we react to that perception. As you have noticed lately, my body shape changed a lot in the last few years, I gained weight but I still want to look good and feel good with myself nevertheless. Today's technology and industry can allow us to feel great despite the weight and this is why I feel like I have to and I must share with you my latest fashion discovery. Today I would like to share with you Loverbeauty, an online fashion store that made of body positivity, women's confidence, and self-acceptance their missions. Their goal is to help women feel good with their body, embrace their curves, make fashion accessible to everyone no matter what size, body shape or age they are because fashion is not a one size and one shape only industry. There are so many body shapes, the most common are: "rectangle", that is a flat appearance without curves, triangle or "pear" where the hips are larger and rounder and the rest of the body, inverted triangle or "apple", where the bust has much more volume then the other parts of the body, the "oval" where the midsection is fuller, and the "hourglass", the most desired body shape with a thin waist and broader bust and hips. Within every body shape type often there are variations and there are people with a "spoon" body shape, that is a marked pear look, "diamond" shape, with narrow shoulders, bust and hips and fuller waistline, "athletic" shape, that is a rectangular but more muscular construction, "bottom hourglass" that just as the name describes it, is an hourglass figure where the hips are wider than the bust and finally the "top hourglass" where the bust measurements are slighty larger than hips. Me for instance, I am a top hourglass and I often look for ways to balance the slight difference between bust and hips.

Newchic summer sale 2020

Hello dear readers,

How are you doing? How are you coping with the period after lockdown? For me is still a transitional period because even if I have more freedom and can do much more things, I still prefer to be cautious and do things gradually. The virus is still out there and it only waits for us to huddle in order to strike again. This is why for example I still prefer to do shopping like I did while in lockdown, online that is! As long as we know our needs, our measuments, check out stores thoroughly, it is possible to buy online almost everything, from clothing, to cosmetics, electronics, footwear, books and pretty much all that our heart desires. And we can also benefit from sales, discounts if we just look around some more che check different brands and stores. 

While browsing different stores online, I came across the Newchic summer sale proposals and thought I might share some ideas with you. For example I really need some sandals because since I wasn't sure when this lockdown would have ended, I waited on buying them. The beautiful lace up gladiator sandals really caught my attention and thought my readers would also like checking them out. Those sandals must be great when when it's very hot outside and for the more cool evenings these daisy flat shoes can be a fantastic alternative, don't you think? 

Browsing some more I found lots of fabulous items and made some perfect combinations in my head like for these graffiti printed pants that would look so stylish with the flat shoes we have seen before. I love light fabrics that alow me to stay fresh and move easily without giving up on looking chic and this is why these pants cought my eye. What do you think?

I have been thinking only about me and other people of same gender until now but it is only right to think about the men in our lives, our partners, husbands, sons, fathers because they have also seen hard times during this lockdown. I don't know about the men in your life but my husband really needs an usb hair trimmer to adjust the disaster that his wife and a broken electric hair clipper did to his hair in this period 😅 

And while I was still on this website I noticed some gorgeous mens floreal t-shirts perfect for hidding the tummy that eating lots of home cooked meals caused during this lockdown. Seriously now, these t-shirts look very trendy and cool for this summer and that is the main reason why I noticed them 😏

Like a princess in a fairytale

How are you all doing? I for instance find it hard to come back from this summer and  I am still thinking about having fun, warm weather and beautiful dresses and that's why I am still looking around for fashion items. I have done some shopping lately because as you all might know, this is the perfect moment due to all the sales that are going on.
