Shark - movie review / Shark - recensione film

Ciao carissimi lettori,
Ieri sera sono andata al cinema a vedere il film Shark, il primo squalo, con Jason Statham. Ho scelto la versione in 2D e devo dire che a mia sorpresa, la sala era piena. Non voglio fare una recensione accurata di questo film anche perché dal mio punto di vista non lo merita, ma voglio solo anticiparvi cosa potete ritrovarvi, se come me, farete la scelta non tanto ispirata di andarlo a vedere. Prima di tutto la storia è ovviamente esagerata senza usare una base scientifica che possa dare l'impressione di credibilità e suscitarne l'interesse, il cast è banale e per niente impressionante, l'unico attore credibile era la bambina Shuya Sophia Cai nella parte di Meiying e i dialoghi facevano veramente pena sembrando essere usciti dalla penna di un ragazzo di 10 anni. Anche l'azione era fiacca, alquanto prevedibile e per certi versi anche troppo ripetitiva, gli innumerevoli momenti in cui Jonas (Jason Statham) salva la pelle alla testarda dottoressa Suyin Zhang (Li Bingbing) mi avevano molto stancata. Basta solo dirvi che verso la fine mi sono anche appisolata un paio di volte per farvi un idea di quanto possa essere considerato un thriller, film d'orrore o d'azione questo film. Dal mio punto di vista, il film è completamente bocciato, vale la pena andarlo a vedere solo per chi vuole vedere l'ennesima pellicola con gli addominali di Jason Statham oppure per chi è alla ricerca di un ninna nanna efficace.

Last evening I went to the cinema to see the movie Shark, with Jason Statham. I chose the 2D version and I must say that to my surprise, the room was full. I do not want to make an accurate review of this film because in my opinion it does not deserve it, but I just want to anticipate what you can find, if like me, you will make the not so inspired choice to go and see it. First of all, the story is obviously exaggerated without using a scientific basis that can give the impression of credibility and arouse the interest, the cast is trivial and not at all impressive, the only credible actor was the Shuya Sophia Cai girl in the role of Meiying and the dialogues were really pitifull as to appear to have come out of a 10-year-old boy's pen. The action too was weak, somewhat predictable and in some ways too repetitive, the countless moments when Jonas (Jason Statham) saved the skin to the stubborn Dr. Suyin Zhang (Li Bingbing) bored me a lot. It is enough to tell you that towards the end I have also made a doze a couple of times to give you an idea of what a thriller, horror movie or action movie this film can be considered. From my point of view, the film is complete flop, it is worth going to see only for those who want to see yet another film with Jason Statham's abs or for those looking for an effective lullaby.

Fast and Furious 8 - review / The Fate of the Furious - movie review

Di recente sono andata al cinema a vedere l'ultimo film Fast and Furious 8 ed eccomi qua che cerco di recensirlo. Devo precisare che non sono una fan dei film con le macchine e nemmeno mi piacciono le corse di velocità ma sono andata a vedere questo film perché in passato avevo visto gli altri Fast and Furious ed ero curiosa come si sarebbero ripresi dopo la perdita di Paul Walker. Però la parte che più mi interessava era vedere Charlize Theron recitare in questo film. Devo dire che dal mio punto di vista Charlize Theron ha recitato molto bene, una gestualità e una mimica che a volte mi ricordava la regina cattiva di Biancaneve e il cacciatore, una bravura che rendeva la sua parte veramente detestabile, persino per una sua fan. In quanto a come si sarebbero ripresi senza Paul Walker devo dire che il personaggio di Dwayne Johnsons, Luke Hobbs ha una maggiore visibilità come anche il personaggio di Jason Statham, Deckard Shaw e rendono il film molto interessante grazie anche alle battute inerenti in un buon film d'azione. Per quanto riguarda la nuova comparsa, Scott Eastwood, nei panni del "Piccolo Signor Nessuno" il giovane agente, devo dire che dal mio punto di vista è stato discreto, forse dovuto anche al fatto che la parte non permetteva di mostrare molto il talento recitativo ma ho comunque grandi speranze per il figlio di Clint Eastwood. Forse la parte che ho più apprezzato in questo film è stata l'attrice Helen Mirren, che ancora una volta ha dato prova del suo incommensurabile talento recitativo in un film che non permette molto di sfoggiare una simile dote. Penso comunque che la maggior parte di voi, fan di Fast and Furious siete interessati alla parte che Vin Diesel doveva recitare. Devo dire che non sono mai stata una fan di questo attore però in questo film, dove lui era diventato il personaggio negativo è stato abbastanza bravo.
In conclusione, se vi piacciono i film d'azione con qualche subdolo intrigo e battute schiette allora questo film vi piacerà. Buona visione!

I recently went to the movies to see the latest movie Fast and Furious 8 and here I am trying to recount it. I have to point out that I'm not a fan of movies with cars and I do not like speed racings but I went to see this movie because in the past I had seen the other Fast and Furious and I was curious as how they would rally up after the loss of Paul Walker. But the part I was most interested in was seeing Charlize Theron play in this movie. I have to say that from my point of view Charlize Theron played very well, her gestures and mimic sometimes reminded me of the bad queen of Snow White and the hunter, a skill that made her part really detestable, even for a fan. Regardless of how they would resume without Paul Walker, I must say that Dwayne Johnsons' character, Luke Hobbs has more visibility as well as Jason Statham's character, Deckard Shaw, and make the film very interesting thanks also to the jokes usually present in a good action movie. As for the new appearance, Scott Eastwood, in the role of "Little Mr Nobody" the young agent, I must say that from my point of view was discreet, perhaps due to the fact that his part did not allow much to show the recitative talent but I still have great hopes for Clint Eastwood's son. Perhaps the part I most liked in this movie was the actress Helen Mirren, who once again proved her invaluable recitative talent in a movie that does not allow much to show off such skills. I still think that most of you, Fast and Furious fans, are interested in the part that Vin Diesel was supposed to play. I have to say I've never been a fan of this actor though in this movie, where he had become the bad character he was pretty good.

In conclusion, if you like action movies with some sneaking intrigue and outspoken jokes then you will love this film. Enjoy the movie!
